Savanna Fraud Investigator is presented as an agentic fraud-investigation system built on TigerGraph. The available exact-title listing identifies Sushant Shekhar as its author and gives a publication date of September 24, 2026, but it does not expose the project’s technical description. Its implementation, performance, deployment status, and customer use therefore cannot be verified from that listing.

What is Savanna Fraud Investigator?

The project is identified by its title as an agentic fraud-investigation system on TigerGraph. The exact-title DEV Community result names Sushant Shekhar as the author, is dated September 24, 2026, and displays topical tags. It does not provide the article’s technical body, so the title and listing establish the project’s stated subject—not how the system works in practice. DEV Community exact-title listing

What can—and cannot—be confirmed?

The accessible listing does not substantiate which graph data the system uses, how it links entities, whether it retrieves policy or case documents, what actions it recommends, or whether a human must approve them. It also provides no verified performance figures, deployment details, or evidence of customer use. Those points should not be inferred from the title alone.

Two other TigerGraph-related projects illustrate approaches used elsewhere, but they are separate systems and are not evidence about Savanna. A challenge-project article describes a temporal graph, GraphRAG, deterministic policy controls, and a benchmark created for the TigerGraph × Hacker House Goa challenge. From Fraud Alert to Defensible Action A separate Casework write-up discusses graph retrieval, document search, and deterministic routing; it cautions that its prototype results do not establish validated accuracy or live banking integration. How to evaluate an agentic fraud investigator

When technical details for a system are available, these questions help distinguish an investigation aid from a validated, operational decision system:

  • Graph evidence: Can the system show which transactions, accounts, people, or devices are connected, and explain the evidence supporting each link?
  • Document retrieval: Are policies and case records sourced clearly, and are they limited to information that was valid at the time of the investigated event?
  • Uncertainty handling: Does the system seek additional evidence or place a case on hold when the available information is inconclusive?
  • Decision controls: Are actions governed by explicit, auditable policy rather than an unreviewed model-generated conclusion?
  • Human oversight: Are recommendations distinct from execution, with approval and escalation responsibilities made clear?
  • Outcome measurement: Are results evaluated against verified labels, with the evaluation method and limits reported?

These are evaluation criteria, not claims that Savanna meets them. The accessible project listing does not answer them.

What the project title alone does not establish

“Agentic” signals that the project is presented as involving agent-like behavior, but the listing does not specify what tasks an agent performs or how its outputs are constrained. “On TigerGraph” identifies the named graph platform, but does not establish the system’s architecture, data sources, or production integration. A separate prototype’s design or results cannot fill those gaps.
