To run a spin-only cycle on a Samsung washer, select Spin Only if it appears on the cycle selector. On some models without that selector option, power on the washer and hold Spin for about three seconds until the cycle time appears; choose a speed if prompted, then press Start/Pause. The controls vary by model, so use your washer’s manual if these steps do not match its panel.
Choose the spin-only method your control panel supports
Samsung describes more than one way to start spin-only operation. The cycle options and controls are not identical on every washer, and some settings are unavailable on certain models.

Samsung Support describes selector-based operation and a long-press method for some models without a dedicated selector entry: hold Spin for two to three seconds until a chime, adjust the displayed time if desired, and press Start (Samsung Support). Samsung Australia’s guidance specifies a three-second press, then selecting a speed after the time and speed appear and pressing Start/Pause (Samsung Australia). These are model-specific instructions, not a universal button sequence.
What spin-only does—and what it does not do
Spin Only runs a spin cycle to remove water from wet clothes. It can also be run after another cycle when clothes need additional spinning, according to Samsung US. It is not the same as Rinse + Spin or Drain/Spin; choose the cycle that matches the function shown on your own washer.

Do not assume there is one best speed for every load. If a speed choice appears, select an option appropriate for the garments and follow any fabric-care guidance; available settings depend on the model.
If your panel does not match these steps
Check the user manual for the exact washer model before trying a different button sequence. Samsung recommends consulting the model’s manual because cycles and settings vary by washer (Samsung Support; Samsung product manuals). The manual’s cycle list and control-panel instructions are the best way to confirm whether that model supports a dedicated Spin Only cycle or a long-press shortcut.

If you selected a spin cycle but the washer never spins, treat that as a fault to troubleshoot rather than a missing Spin Only setting. Samsung notes that a drainage problem can stop a washer from progressing to the spin step. How long does Spin Only take?
There is no single duration that applies to every Samsung washer. Samsung Australia says spin time depends on the selected cycle and settings (Samsung Australia), so use the time displayed by your washer rather than expecting a fixed run time.
