Yes, Samsung Wallet may be able to send USDC to Phantom on Solana—but only if Samsung’s launched service supports that route and both wallets show USDC on the Solana network. Samsung announced the feature for the last week of October 2026; its announcement does not establish that the rollout has since completed or confirm the exact network options in the app. Phantom is a self-custody wallet, while Samsung says its announced USDC accounts, custody and transfers are provided by partners. That difference in control is as important as the transfer itself.

Can I send USDC from Samsung Wallet to Phantom?
The announced services appear to be a conditional fit: Samsung says users can send USDC to compatible crypto wallets on a blockchain network it supports, and Solana is named among Samsung’s technical partners. Phantom supports Solana. Neither fact alone guarantees that every Samsung account, transfer route or app version will offer a Samsung-to-Phantom Solana transfer. Before sending, confirm the network and asset at both ends. In Samsung Wallet, the sending option must identify USDC on Solana; in Phantom, use the Solana receiving address. Do not choose a network based only on the ticker “USDC.” A token’s name can be shared by assets with different issuers or networks. - In Phantom, select the Solana account and use its receive flow to display the receiving address.
- In Samsung Wallet, select USDC and the network explicitly identified as Solana, if that option is available.
- Compare the destination address character by character with Phantom’s displayed Solana address. Confirm the asset and network on the final review screen.
- Check any fee and delivery estimate shown, then send only if the network, token and destination all match.
Solana transactions require the sender to have a sufficient token balance and to sign the transaction. Network-fee arrangements can depend on the payment design, so review the transaction details shown by the sending wallet. Solana payments documentation

Is Samsung Wallet self-custody?
No—not according to Samsung’s announcement. Samsung says that regulated partners provide the stablecoin accounts, custody and money movement, and that Samsung does not hold customer funds. The release names Bastion as framework provider and Coinbase as sub-custodian, with USDC safeguarded via Coinbase Prime Vault. Samsung also says biometric authentication is required to initiate transfers. Phantom is described by Solana as self-custody. This gives the user direct wallet control, but also puts responsibility for access and transaction approvals with the user. Who can use Samsung’s announced feature?
Samsung Electronics America announced initial eligibility for U.S. residents who are at least 18, have a Samsung Account, use a compatible Galaxy device running Android 13 or later, and complete identity verification and biometric setup. What Samsung’s announcement does—and does not—confirm
Samsung Electronics America announced the feature on October 7, 2026, with a planned rollout in the last week of October 2026. At the time of that announcement, the feature was scheduled for the future. The announcement does not establish whether rollout is now complete, which Galaxy models qualify, which exact network choices appear in the app, or whether fees, destinations and supported routes have changed. Check the current app and official terms before relying on the service.
Samsung says it will charge no fee for transfers to external wallets, but recipient wallets or exchanges may impose their own fees and transfer speed depends on network conditions. This is distinct from its announced bank transfers, for which fees vary. Samsung Electronics America

Solana Foundation said in 2026 that 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices would have access to the announced feature; that is a device count, not a count of active users. The Foundation also reported a nearly 20% year-over-year increase in Solana stablecoin supply and more than $5.25 trillion in Solana stablecoin volume during 2026.
