Do not use a specification from one size as if it applies to an entire family. Samsung’s US 55-inch LS03F page lists a 120Hz refresh rate with support up to 144Hz, while the cited 50-inch LS03F page lists 60Hz. Those are product specifications for the cited sizes, not a guarantee for every The Frame model.
TCL’s global NXTFRAME pages identify 55-, 65-, 75-, and 85-inch options, but availability and model codes can differ by country. A product name such as “A300W” or “A300 Pro” is not enough to determine the exact panel, tuner, stand bundle, or included frame in your market. Samsung identifies Art Mode and Art Store as core features of The Frame. Art Mode is the television’s artwork display state; the Art Store is Samsung’s catalog and delivery interface for art content. The 2025 lineup announcement also mentions a Motion + Brightness Sensor. That combination is intended to make the display behave more like a picture in the room: sensing activity and ambient conditions so the screen does not remain needlessly bright when nobody is present.
Samsung’s matte display is part of the art-focused design. A matte surface can make a screen read more like printed art under ordinary room lighting, but the cited materials do not provide a controlled reflection comparison against TCL or any other television. Check the screen in the lighting conditions where you will mount it, especially if a window or lamp will face it directly.
TCL NXTFRAME A300W and A300 Pro: Art Gallery tools
TCL describes an Art Gallery with a customizable carousel, a personal photo gallery, digital frames, and pre-generated AI artwork. TCL advertises more than 100,000 pre-generated AI artworks on the A300W page and explicitly says these images are pre-generated rather than created in real time. That is TCL’s advertised count, not an independently audited measurement.
TCL support material says T-Exhibition is available on select Google TV models, including the A300W. Because support can depend on model, software, and region, verify that the exact local SKU supports the service before treating it as a deciding feature. The available art, account requirements, display controls, and service terms can also change.
Which art experience fits your habits?
- Choose Samsung’s approach if you want a clearly defined Art Mode and Art Store workflow and prefer Samsung’s sensor-based presentation features.

For a console or PC purchase, check the exact HDMI capabilities, supported resolution at each refresh rate, automatic low-latency behavior, and the game mode on the local specification sheet. The cited comparison material does not provide those details, so they should not be inferred from the refresh-rate labels.
Installation and physical design
Samsung: One Connect Box and Slim Fit wall mount
Samsung’s 2025 announcement says The Frame ships with a One Connect Box and Slim Fit wall mount. The box moves many connections away from the panel, which can produce a cleaner wall installation when the box and its cable route are planned correctly. The included mount is a significant part of the value proposition, but confirm the package for your exact model, country, and retailer listing before assuming every bundle is identical.

Plan the wall position, power outlet, cable path, and access to the One Connect Box before drilling. A slim mount does not eliminate the need for a suitable wall structure, correct fasteners, ventilation clearance, and a way to reach the box for future device changes.
TCL: slim body and cable management
TCL emphasizes a slim integrated design, wall mounting, and cable management for NXTFRAME. The A300W page states that the Movable Floor Stand is sold separately. That means a floor-standing installation can add a separate accessory cost and may not be available in every market. The same page should be checked for the local stand, mount, and frame bundle.
When comparing installation cost, count the hardware you actually need: wall mount or floor stand, professional installation if required, long enough cables, in-wall cable provisions where applicable, and any decorative frame sold separately. Samsung is the more direct fit when you specifically want Art Mode and Art Store, value the cited Motion + Brightness Sensor, and prefer an installation package that identifies a One Connect Box and Slim Fit wall mount. Select the size carefully: the cited 55-inch LS03F and 50-inch LS03F have different refresh-rate listings.
Choose TCL NXTFRAME A300W when formats and gaming features lead
The A300W is the stronger feature match if Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, AMD FreeSync Premium, and 144Hz VRR are high on your list. Its Art Gallery, custom carousel, photo gallery, digital frames, and TCL-advertised library of more than 100,000 pre-generated AI artworks give it a different art workflow from Samsung.
