For a hotel that wants an art-led television with a clearly documented hospitality product, Samsung’s The Frame HL03H is the safer fit. Samsung announced HL03H specifically for hotels, with hospitality management, artwork tools, guest casting, and commercial installation features. LG’s published hotel televisions offer Gallery Mode and Pro:Centric controls, but the available documentation does not establish that a separately named “LG Gallery TV” is itself a comparable hospitality SKU.
That distinction matters more than the panel brand. Before ordering, match the exact regional model number to your property-management and casting systems, confirm what artwork and welcome content administrators can control, and obtain a written total-installed-cost quote.
What is actually being compared?
The name “Samsung The Frame” refers here to HL03H, a hospitality-specific model Samsung announced on June 16, 2026. Samsung announced United States availability on October 8, 2026, in 55-, 65-, and 75-inch sizes.
“LG Gallery TV” is less precise in hotel procurement. The LG pages available for comparison document named hospitality televisions that include Gallery Mode, not a product page proving that a separately marketed LG Gallery TV has the same hotel hardware, controls, or software. Two documented examples are LG’s 65WN960H for Europe and 77AM960H0UD for the United States. They are hotel televisions with gallery-style display features, but they should not be silently treated as one globally uniform LG Gallery hospitality model.

- MAKES ART LOOK LIKE REAL ART WITH A PRINT-LIKE FINISH: See your favorite works like you're seeing them hanging in a gallery or museum. The virtually glare-free screen has subtle, matte texture, making art look like a real print.
For a fair bid, put the exact model number, destination country, screen size, tuner, warranty, management platform, and supplied accessories on every quote. A retail art television and a commercial hotel television can look similar while differing substantially in port locking, remote-control behavior, digital-rights management, firmware support, and service terms.

Which has the clearer hospitality product?
Samsung: a hotel-specific Frame model
HL03H is not merely a consumer Frame television placed in a guest room. Samsung introduced it as a hospitality model and describes the display, art experience, hotel services, and centralized administration together. That gives a procurement team a defined commercial starting point: ask for the HL03H regional datasheet, LYNK Cloud requirements, supported property-management interfaces, and hospitality service terms.
Samsung’s U.S. announcement identifies 55-, 65-, and 75-inch versions. If a project is outside the United States, do not assume those sizes, tuners, electrical certifications, or software features carry over unchanged. The model suffix and local distributor documentation control what can actually be installed.

LG: gallery functions on named hotel models
LG’s published specifications establish that Gallery Mode can be included on commercial hotel televisions. The European 65WN960H page combines Gallery Mode with Pro:Centric choices and a broad hotel-feature list. The U.S. 77AM960H0UD page lists Gallery Mode, Pro:Centric Smart/Direct/V, Pro:Idiom DRM, and a three-year limited warranty.
Those facts support LG as a viable hotel-TV platform when the proposed model matches the property’s requirements. They do not prove that every product sold or described as an LG Gallery TV has hotel mode, DRM, a supported hotel CMS, or the same warranty. Ask the reseller to identify the hospitality model number in writing rather than accepting a display name.
Art, ambience, and room design
Samsung Collection Hub and framing
Samsung says HL03H’s Collection Hub can present hotel-selected artwork, photographs, or brand visuals while the screen is idle. That can let a property use the television as part of a room’s visual identity instead of showing a black rectangle between viewing sessions. Optional magnetic bezels are intended to reinforce the framed-art appearance, while the close-to-wall Slim Fit mount reduces the visual gap behind the display.
Samsung also promotes Generative Wallpaper that guests can create. Treat that as an optional experience, not as a substitute for the hotel’s content policy. Decide whether guests may create images, whether generated content is filtered, and whether the feature is enabled on the property network before advertising it.
LG Gallery Mode and always-on display
The 65WN960H specification describes Gallery Mode and an always-on-display experience. The practical question is not simply whether a gallery mode exists, but what administrators can select, schedule, replace, and disable. Request a demonstration of the idle screen, transition behavior, brightness controls, local-language support, and recovery after a power interruption.

For either brand, test artwork under the actual bedside and daylight lighting conditions. OLED and QLED images can look different in a bright room, and a gallery feature that looks impressive in a showroom may be too bright, too dim, or too active for a sleeping area. The available manufacturer material does not provide an independent hotel-lighting comparison, so a property should run its own room mock-up before standardizing.
Hotel management and content operations
Samsung LYNK Cloud
Samsung positions LYNK Cloud as the centralized management layer for hospitality content and devices. In a multi-room deployment, ask the integrator to show how administrators will:
- Push or schedule artwork, welcome messages, and brand visuals.
- Apply settings by building, floor, room type, or individual television.
- Monitor device status and firmware versions.
- Reset a room after checkout without exposing the previous guest’s settings.
- Delegate permissions to hotel IT, marketing, and an outside managed-service provider.
Confirm whether each function is included in the quoted license, requires a subscription, or depends on an on-premises component. The announcements establish Samsung’s centralized-management positioning, but they do not publish your property’s implementation cost or every integration detail.

One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchLG Pro:Centric variants
LG’s documented hotel models list Pro:Centric Smart, Direct, or V options. These are not interchangeable labels. Pro:Centric Direct may imply a different authoring and distribution workflow from a cloud-managed or server-based deployment, and the available page does not state which option a particular quote includes.
Have the vendor map your existing head-end, channel lineup, welcome-video process, room-number data, and help-desk workflow to the exact Pro:Centric variant. If the property already operates an LG hospitality environment, continuity may reduce training and integration work; if it operates another platform, migration and license costs can outweigh a modest difference in panel price.
What to put in the integration statement of work
- List every television model and regional suffix, including replacement units.
- Name the management server or cloud service, license term, user seats, and renewal pricing.
- Specify who supplies network switches, wireless isolation, VLANs, firewalls, and internet egress.
- Define artwork file formats, maximum resolution, scheduling rules, and approval responsibilities.
- Document firmware-update windows, rollback procedures, logs, and remote-support access.
- Require an acceptance test covering a representative room, a suite, and a room with the weakest network signal.
Guest casting and privacy
Samsung says its 2025 hotel-TV lineup and HL03H support Google Cast and Apple AirPlay through a QR connection flow. Samsung’s description says guests do not need a separate login and that connection information is deleted at checkout. These are vendor claims that still need validation on the hotel’s configured network.
Test the complete Samsung flow
- Scan the QR code from an iOS and an Android device without installing an unapproved app.
- Cast a video, pause it, stop casting, and verify that the next guest cannot resume the prior session.
- Check that the room’s television is not discoverable from an adjacent room.
- Force a checkout reset and inspect pairing records, recently used accounts, and displayed device names.
- Repeat the test after a television reboot and after a temporary internet outage.
The property’s IT and privacy teams should approve the retention period, network segmentation, QR-code placement, and support process. A QR-based setup is convenient, but convenience does not replace isolation between rooms.

Hotel controls, ports, channels, and DRM
LG features explicitly listed
The European 65WN960H page lists Hotel Mode, port blocking, welcome video, IP channel management, and compatibility with a remote jack pack. Those controls can prevent guests from changing restricted settings, connect the television to a property channel system, and move service connections to an accessible location.
The U.S. 77AM960H0UD page lists Pro:Idiom DRM. That matters when the property distributes protected linear channels or other encrypted programming. Verify that the DRM implementation, head-end equipment, licenses, and channel package are compatible; a feature listed on a television page does not by itself authorize particular content.
Verify equivalent Samsung controls
Do not infer feature parity from the Frame appearance. Ask for the HL03H commercial specification covering hotel mode, remote restrictions, port control, channel maps, welcome screens, USB behavior, and DRM. The cited Samsung announcements emphasize design, art, connectivity, and management but do not publish a complete control matrix for every region.
During commissioning, test the physical buttons, remote shortcuts, HDMI inputs, USB playback, factory-reset protection, volume limits, subtitles, closed captions, language selection, and emergency-information channel. Record the intended setting in the room standard so replacement units behave identically.
Installation and physical design
Samsung describes HL03H with anti-glare treatment, a close-to-wall Slim Fit mount, and integrated connections that do not require a separate One Connect Box. Optional magnetic bezels can simplify the framed look, but confirm what is included in the quote and how bezels are replaced after damage.
The absence of a separate connection box can simplify behind-wall planning, yet installers still need power, network, HDMI, and service access. Confirm cable bend radii, ventilation, wall strength, VESA or supplied-mount requirements, and access for a future board or panel replacement.
LG’s cited pages establish screen sizes and hospitality functions, but they do not provide a universal installation kit for every market. Require the exact weight, depth, mount pattern, power draw, bezel dimensions, and remote-jack-pack accessories for the quoted model. A 65-inch OLED and a 77-inch hotel display can require different wall reinforcement, lift equipment, and corridor handling procedures.

Sizes and room-type planning
| Room application | Questions to answer before choosing a size |
|---|---|
| Standard guest room | Will a 55-inch HL03H or 65-inch hotel model fit the viewing distance without dominating the room? Can the mount align with the furniture and power outlet? |
| Premium room or suite | Would a 65- or 75-inch HL03H, or LG’s documented 77-inch model, fit the wall, lift path, and network drop? Is artwork resolution sufficient at the closer viewing distance? |
| Lobby, lounge, or meeting area | Is the display being used for guest viewing, signage, or both? Do brightness, anti-glare treatment, operating hours, and content scheduling meet that use? |
Samsung’s U.S. sizes are 55, 65, and 75 inches. The LG examples in the cited material are 65 inches for 65WN960H and 77 inches for 77AM960H0UD. Do not assume that an unlisted intermediate size or a different panel technology is available in your country.

Price, warranty, and total installed cost
No verified apples-to-apples purchase price is established for HL03H versus an exact LG Gallery hotel model. Samsung’s March 2026 hospitality price sheet covers other Samsung hotel televisions and notes that prices may change; it is not a quote for HL03H. LG’s cited pages likewise do not provide a comparable project price.
Request itemized quotes that separate:
- Display, bezel, mount, remote, and remote-jack-pack hardware.
- Freight, room delivery, installation, lift equipment, and wall repairs.
- LYNK Cloud or Pro:Centric licenses, servers, subscriptions, and support.
- Head-end, channel, DRM, casting, VLAN, and firewall configuration.
- Artwork production, content migration, training, and acceptance testing.
- Warranty labor, advance replacement, panel shipping, and service response times.
The 77AM960H0UD U.S. page states a three-year limited warranty. The supplied HL03H announcements do not state a warranty, and the 65WN960H page does not establish one in the material cited here. Obtain written regional warranty terms rather than applying one model’s policy to another.
Which option fits common hotel scenarios?
Choose Samsung HL03H when
- The project specifically requires a documented hospitality Frame product.
- Art presentation, framed appearance, and hotel-selected idle content are core design goals.
- The property wants to evaluate Samsung’s LYNK Cloud workflow and QR-based Google Cast and AirPlay.
- The regional distributor can supply the required size, service coverage, and integration documentation.
Choose an LG hotel model when
- The exact LG hospitality SKU is identified and its Gallery Mode meets the design brief.
- The property already operates compatible Pro:Centric infrastructure or prefers its workflow.
- Hotel Mode, port blocking, IP channel management, remote-jack-pack support, or Pro:Idiom DRM are explicit requirements.
- The regional warranty and service network are stronger for the property’s location.
Pause the purchase when
- A salesperson cannot provide a hospitality model number and regional datasheet.
- “Gallery TV” is used as a marketing name without confirmation of hotel controls.
- Casting privacy, checkout reset, or room-to-room network isolation has not been demonstrated.
- The quote omits management licensing, mounts, installation, or service labor.
A practical hotel pilot
Run a pilot in at least one standard room and one premium room before ordering hundreds of units. Use the intended wall finish, curtains, bedside lighting, network segmentation, channel source, and artwork library.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors- Install the proposed display at the final height and viewing angle.
- Load the hotel’s welcome screen, artwork, channel map, and language settings.
- Measure the time required for an administrator to change content and reset a room.
- Test guest casting from current iOS and Android versions, then perform a simulated checkout.
- Disconnect network and internet services separately to observe the fallback screen and recovery.
- Attempt restricted actions through the remote, television buttons, HDMI, USB, and factory-reset menus.
- Record brightness, reflections, fan or electrical noise, boot time, and visible cable issues at morning, afternoon, and night.
- Have housekeeping, front desk, IT, engineering, and privacy staff sign off on their parts of the workflow.
The sources available for these products do not report an independent hotel trial, comparative reliability figures, guest-preference survey, or service-response benchmark. A pilot is therefore the appropriate way to answer questions that specifications cannot settle.
Bottom-line decision
Samsung The Frame HL03H is the clearer hospitality fit when the goal is an art-forward guest-room display backed by a specifically announced hotel model. Its Collection Hub, optional magnetic bezels, Slim Fit installation concept, LYNK Cloud positioning, and stated Google Cast and AirPlay workflow give a buyer a coherent starting specification.
LG can be the better operational choice when a named regional hotel model—such as the documented 65WN960H or 77AM960H0UD—fits the property’s Pro:Centric, channel, DRM, port-control, warranty, and service requirements. The deciding evidence must come from the exact LG SKU, not the generic phrase “LG Gallery TV.”
In either case, select only after a model-specific integration test and an itemized installed-cost quote. The available material does not support a quantified winner for picture quality, reliability, guest satisfaction, or long-term operating cost.
