No. Samsung Galaxy SmartTags are not supported for setup or tracking with an iPhone. Samsung’s documentation places SmartTag features in its Galaxy ecosystem: SmartThings Find is supported only on Android, and Samsung says iOS devices are not supported for the described SmartTag functions.
Why a Samsung SmartTag won’t work with an iPhone
Samsung SmartTags use Samsung’s SmartThings Find service, rather than Apple’s Find My network. Samsung’s SmartThings Find support page says the service is supported only on Android devices. Samsung’s SmartTag and SmartTag+ support guidance also says iOS devices are not supported for the described tag functions.
That distinction matters because SmartThings may be available on iPhone for other smart-home purposes; installing the app does not make an iPhone a supported device for registering or tracking a Galaxy SmartTag. Samsung’s guidance does not establish a supported browser-based iPhone tracking workaround either.

Does SmartTag2 change the answer?
No. SmartTag2 still belongs to Samsung’s supported Galaxy and SmartThings Find ecosystem. Samsung says registration requires a Samsung account and SmartThings Find. Its SmartTag2 announcement describes the Galaxy-device and Android/app conditions for supported network features; it does not provide an iPhone setup route.

Apple’s setup instructions for adding an AirTag in Find My and its AirTag setup guide explain the Apple option. For third-party products, Apple’s instructions for adding a third-party item to Find My show the supported route. A tracker being Bluetooth-enabled does not by itself mean it can join Find My.
Can you add a Samsung tag to Apple Find My?
No. A Galaxy SmartTag cannot be added to Apple’s Find My network as if it were an AirTag or a supported third-party Find My item. AirTag is a separate product, not an adapter or bridge for Samsung tags. If you want to track an item from an iPhone, choose an AirTag or verify that the exact third-party tracker model explicitly supports Find My.
