To delete stickers on a Samsung Galaxy, use the controls for the sticker’s source: My Emoji, AR Emoji or Galaxy Avatar, and custom Gallery stickers are managed differently. If you only want stickers out of the keyboard shortcut row or suggestions, hide them instead—those changes do not delete the saved stickers. Menu names vary by model and software version.
Find the sticker type and the result you want

Delete My Emoji sticker sets
Samsung’s Canada support instructions document this route for the Galaxy S20 FE-era Samsung Keyboard. The exact controls may differ on other models or software versions.
- Open an app where you can type and bring up Samsung Keyboard.
- Open the keyboard’s emoji controls, then tap the control at the bottom of the keyboard.
- Tap Manage sticker sets.
- Select the My Emoji sticker set or stickers you want to remove, then tap Delete.
If those labels are missing, your device may use a different sticker system or a newer interface. Identify whether the stickers are AR Emoji, Galaxy Avatar, or custom Gallery stickers before trying another route.
Delete AR Emoji stickers
The Galaxy Z Fold6 user manual gives this path for its AR Emoji sticker collection:

- Open AR Zone.
- Tap AR Emoji Stickers.
- Tap More options, then Edit.
- Select the stickers you want to remove and tap Delete.
This is a documented Z Fold6 route, not a universal sequence for every Galaxy phone.
Look for Galaxy Avatar controls on newer devices
Samsung says AR Emoji features were renamed Galaxy Avatar beginning with Galaxy S25 and on compatible Galaxy phones and tablets running Android 15 with One UI 7.0 or later. You may therefore see Galaxy Avatar or Avatar stickers instead of AR Emoji or AR Zone.

On supported devices, Samsung’s Camera settings include Manage avatar or Manage emoji, where you can delete, duplicate, or reorder an avatar or emoji and its stickers. The exact label depends on the device and software.
Hide keyboard shortcuts or stop sticker suggestions
Remove a sticker category from the shortcut row
- Open Samsung Messages and a conversation.
- Tap the emoji icon next to the text field or in the keyboard.
- Swipe left and tap Settings.
- Switch off the shortcut category you no longer want to see.
This removes the category from the shortcut display; it does not delete its sticker set.

Turn off sticker suggestions while typing
Open Samsung Keyboard settings and switch off Suggest stickers while typing. Samsung documents this separately from deleting sticker sets, so saved stickers remain managed through their own controls.
You can also turn off the keyboard toolbar if you want less on-screen interface. That changes the keyboard display, not the sticker collection.

Custom stickers made from Gallery photos
Samsung supports creating custom stickers from Gallery photos and sharing them through Samsung Keyboard. Its instructions describe creating and using those stickers, as well as removing a sticker placed on a photo; that photo-editing Remove control is not evidence that the saved sticker asset has been deleted.
To look for deletion controls, check the device’s sticker gallery and the current Gallery or keyboard menus. Samsung does not document one route that applies to every device, so avoid assuming that removing a sticker from an edited photo also removes it from the saved collection.

If the steps do not match your phone
- Check the exact sticker name or origin: My Emoji, AR Emoji, Galaxy Avatar, or a custom Gallery sticker.
- Look for the newer Avatar labels if your device runs a compatible Android 15 and One UI 7.0-or-later setup.
- Use the shortcut or suggestion settings only when your goal is to change what appears in the keyboard.
- Do not start by clearing keyboard data or cache. Samsung documents cache and reset controls for keyboard settings and data, but does not say they delete a selected sticker.
Samsung cautions that features, settings, and menu options vary by model and software version. If a named control is absent, consult the support instructions for your Galaxy model rather than treating another model’s taps as guaranteed.
