For a Galaxy S24 Ultra, choose a case listing that explicitly names the Ultra: Samsung’s Standing Grip Case is the clearest fit for a built-in grip and hands-free viewing, while its Clear Gadget Case pairs a transparent format with a removable grip that doubles as a stand. Samsung also listed Smart View Wallet and Silicone case formats for this phone. The available product information describes features, not comparative drop-test results, so it cannot establish which case protects best in an impact.
Check Galaxy S24 Ultra compatibility first
Do not assume a case for the Galaxy S24 or S24+ fits the Ultra. Confirm that the exact product listing names “Galaxy S24 Ultra” as a compatible model, and verify the product code where one is shown. Samsung’s listings identify its Standing Grip Case EF-GS928 and Clear Gadget Case EF-XS928 for the S24 Ultra.

What these listings can—and cannot—tell you about protection
The two detailed Samsung product pages describe design intent and features, but the available evidence does not include independent comparative drop testing or a shared impact-protection standard for these options. A grip or stand can change how you hold or prop up the phone; it is not, by itself, proof that the phone is less likely to break in a fall. Choose based on the documented format and handling features rather than treating any option as a verified “best protection” winner.

Samsung describes the Standing Grip Case this way: “With the new standing grip design, your phone stays securely in your hand.” That is the manufacturer’s description of the design, not an independent drop-prevention result. The UK product page also displays a 2.2 rating from 34 reviews; Samsung notes that ratings may include incentivized and non-incentivized reviews and in-store demonstrations. This is a time-sensitive customer-review snapshot, not a durability test or a comparison across Samsung cases. See Samsung’s listing and review notes.

Use a practical checklist before buying
- Fit: Confirm the listing explicitly names Galaxy S24 Ultra and check its product code.
- Format: Decide whether you want a grip and stand, a clear case with a removable accessory, a wallet-style case, or a silicone-style case.
- Handling: Consider whether a strap, removable grip, or wallet format suits your everyday use. The cited listings do not quantify comparative bulk, so check the case’s current specifications and images if thickness or weight is important to you.
- Availability: Check the current local listing and stock. Samsung says Clear Gadget accessory design and availability can vary by country or carrier.
Check screen-protector guidance separately
A case listing does not establish compatibility with a screen protector. Samsung Support includes a topic concerning hardware defects associated with unauthorized third-party protective films, but that does not amount to a blanket ban or establish compatibility instructions for every protector. Check Samsung’s current support guidance and confirm that any protector you consider is designed for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
