To stop using Samsung Pay or Samsung Wallet, remove each payment card from Wallet on every enrolled phone, watch, or other device. That removes the digital version only: your physical credit or debit card remains active unless you ask the card issuer to cancel it.
Choose what you want to cancel

These are separate records and actions. Deleting the Wallet app alone is not a documented substitute for removing cards from each enrolled device or managing Samsung Account payment methods.
Remove a card from Samsung Wallet on a phone
The following is Samsung’s US support path; labels and availability can vary by region, app version, and device.
- Open Samsung Wallet and tap All.
- Tap Payment cards, then select the card you want to remove.
- Tap More options (the three vertical dots), then choose Delete card.
- If prompted, choose a reason and tap Delete.
- Authenticate with your Samsung Wallet PIN or biometrics to confirm.

Remove the card from a Galaxy Watch separately
A card enrolled on a Galaxy Watch is separate from the one on your phone. Removing the phone’s card does not remove the watch enrollment, so check each device where you added the card.
On the watch, use its Samsung Pay or Wallet controls, or manage payment cards through Galaxy Wearable. Select the card and delete it. The precise menu route differs among watch models; if the displayed options do not match, follow Samsung’s device-specific removal guidance.

Cancel the physical card through its issuer
Deleting a card from Samsung Wallet removes its digital enrollment, not the underlying bank card. The physical card remains active. If you want the card itself cancelled, contact the bank or other issuer using its official support channel. Samsung also distinguishes Wallet removal from issuer cancellation in its Samsung Wallet FAQ.
Check Samsung Account payment methods separately
A payment card saved for Samsung services may be managed in your Samsung Account rather than in Wallet. Samsung’s US terms, dated October 26, 2021, identify Payments and benefits > Payment methods as the management area for these saved details. Because those terms are older, check the live account settings for the current wording and route. Removing a Wallet card does not establish that the separate account payment method has also been removed.
