What to know about the display, storage and cameras
Display resolution
The 8.7-inch-class TFT panel has a 1340 × 800 resolution. Consider the resolution alongside the screen size when comparing tablets; the diagonal alone does not describe image detail.
Storage expansion
The tablet supports microSD cards up to 2TB, sold separately. Samsung specifies external storage for media files rather than applications, so a card should not be treated as a way to expand app-installation storage.

Cameras and video
The rear camera is 8MP with autofocus, while the front camera is 5MP. Samsung lists video recording up to FHD (1920 × 1080) at 30fps. These are specification figures, not a measure of real-world image quality.

Software and update status
Samsung’s update history for model SM-X133 records Android 16 updates in 2026. An entry dated August 20, 2026 lists security patch level July 5, 2026; another Android 16 entry dated June 4, 2026 describes One UI 8.5. Which Galaxy Tab A11 configuration should you compare?
- Choose between Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity: Samsung’s interface distinguishes Wi-Fi, 4G and 5G options, but confirm the exact model and availability shown for the listing you intend to buy.
- Compare RAM and built-in storage: The listed options are 4GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB. The specifications alone do not establish a benchmark or guarantee that one configuration will feel faster in a particular workload.
- Factor in the microSD limitation: A separately purchased card can hold media, but Samsung says external storage is not for applications.
- Recheck the live price: The listed amounts and inventory status are time-sensitive; confirm the current Samsung India listing before purchase.
For a comparison with another tablet, line up display size and resolution, RAM, internal storage, expansion behavior, connectivity, battery capacity and current price. Avoid comparing only screen size or headline storage capacity.

Galaxy Tab A11 and Galaxy Tab A11+ are different tablets
The Galaxy Tab A11 covered here is not the Galaxy Tab A11+. Samsung announced the A11+ separately in India on December 1, 2025, describing it as an 11-inch tablet with different hardware and configurations.
