The vivo V70 is the larger phone, with a higher published battery capacity and dedicated telephoto camera; the Samsung Galaxy S26 is more compact and posted the higher Geekbench multi-core score in one published comparison. There is no reliable direct price difference to calculate from the cited prices: Samsung’s example is for India, while vivo’s is for Nepal.

Which phone has the better display?
The V70 has the larger panel: 6.59 inches versus the S26’s 6.3-inch class display in the 91mobiles comparison. Both are listed at up to 120 Hz. vivo Nepal specifies a 2750 × 1260 AMOLED display for its V70 listing. Choose the V70 if screen size is a priority; the S26’s smaller dimensions may suit someone who prefers a more compact handset.
How do their cameras differ?
The V70’s published camera specifications emphasize selfie and zoom photography: vivo lists 50 MP front and main cameras, plus a 50 MP telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom. Its India product page calls the telephoto a “50 MP ZEISS Night Telephoto Camera” and describes the system as co-engineered with ZEISS. Those are manufacturer descriptions, not independent proof of better photos.

The S26 comparison listing specifies a 50 MP primary rear camera and a 12 MP front camera. Samsung’s India page also describes an AI image signal processor for the front camera and Super Steady with Horizontal Lock. Megapixel counts and feature names alone do not establish which phone takes better pictures or video; for that, compare sample images and tests that reflect the kinds of scenes you shoot.

Which phone is faster?
In 91mobiles’ comparison, the Galaxy S26 scored 11,249 in Geekbench multi-core and the vivo V70 scored 3,982. These are results reported by that source, not universal predictions of app performance, gaming, or sustained workloads. The listed processors are Exynos 2600 for the S26 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 for the V70; confirm the chipset for the exact regional model before buying.

Does the V70 last longer on a charge?
Its listed battery capacity is higher: vivo Nepal specifies 6,500 mAh, while Samsung India gives the S26 a typical capacity of 4,300 mAh. Capacity does not by itself establish real-world battery life, which depends on factors such as screen use, signal conditions, and workload. 91mobiles reports a longer battery test result for the V70, but that finding applies to that source’s test conditions rather than every user.
What about software, updates, and regional features?
Samsung says Galaxy AI availability depends on country or region, One UI version, device model, and carrier; it states that basic Galaxy AI features are free while future or third-party services may have different terms.

vivo’s India product page describes five OS generations and five years of security patches for Europe. For non-European markets, it says the six-year timing is calculated from the local product launch date. That is not a single universal support period, so check the policy for the phone sold in your country. Separately, vivo Nepal lists Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and IP68/IP69 ingress protection for its regional V70 specification. Do not assume those exact software and protection details apply to every V70 variant.

Which one should you buy?
Choose the vivo V70 if you prioritize
- A larger 6.59-inch display.
- A higher published battery capacity.
- A dedicated telephoto camera and a 50 MP front-camera specification.
- The listed 90 W charging specification, after confirming the regional model and included accessories.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy S26 if you prioritize
- A more compact 6.3-inch-class phone.
- The higher Geekbench multi-core result reported in the cited comparison.
- Samsung’s software and AI features, after checking availability and terms in your region.
Before paying, compare current local prices for equivalent storage and verify the exact model, warranty, box contents, and regional features. Samsung’s India page says its S26 box does not include a charger; confirm the package in your market.
