The Samsung Galaxy S26 is the smaller, lighter choice, with a dedicated telephoto camera and longer listed software support. The OnePlus Nord 6 is built around a much larger, faster-refreshing display and a far larger listed battery. There is no dependable single price difference across markets: prices depend on country, storage, seller and date, and the available figures do not establish a current Nord 6 price for every market.

Which phone is easier to carry?
The Galaxy S26 is substantially more compact in the listed configurations. Samsung gives the Sub6 model dimensions of 71.7 × 149.6 × 7.2 mm and a weight of 167g; 91mobiles lists the Nord 6 at 77.5 × 162.5 × 8.5 mm and 217g. That difference matters if you prefer a phone that takes up less pocket space or is easier to hold one-handed. Weight can vary with regional or hardware configurations.
Which display suits your use?
The Nord 6 offers the larger screen and higher listed refresh rate: 6.78 inches and 165Hz, according to 91mobiles. That combination gives more room for video, games and scrolling, though the comparison figures alone do not establish which phone looks better in every condition.

How do the cameras compare?
Both phones have a listed 50MP main rear camera, but the Galaxy S26 has a more versatile stated rear-camera set: a 50MP wide camera, 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto. Samsung specifies 3x optical zoom and 2x optical-quality zoom; those terms describe different zoom capabilities, not the same optical zoom range.
91mobiles lists the Nord 6 with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide, with no dedicated telephoto camera listed. The Nord’s front camera is listed at 32MP versus Samsung’s 12MP. Megapixel counts by themselves do not establish image quality, so choose based on lens options and independent image samples if camera performance is decisive.

Does the Nord 6 last longer between charges?
The listed capacities strongly favor the Nord 6 on paper: 9,000mAh according to 91mobiles, compared with Samsung’s official 4,300mAh typical capacity for the S26. The Nord is also listed with 80W charging. These specifications do not prove a particular real-world battery-life advantage; endurance varies with screen settings, signal conditions, apps and test method.

What do the chipset and software figures tell you?
The processor depends on the S26 market: Samsung lists Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy or Exynos 2600, while 91mobiles’ India comparison names Exynos 2600. The Nord 6 is listed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. A chipset name alone does not settle everyday speed, heat or gaming performance, and comparison-page benchmark results should not be treated as universal outcomes without matching device variants, software, test conditions and dates.
For update longevity, 91mobiles lists seven years of OS and security updates for the S26, compared with four years of OS updates and six years of security updates for the Nord 6. These are comparison-page figures; check each manufacturer’s current policy for the exact model and region before buying with long-term support as a priority.

What is the price difference?
There is no single global price gap supported by the available figures. In India, 91mobiles displayed Amazon listing prices of ₹94,736 for the S26 and ₹47,368 for the Nord 6 in one page view, while another view showed ₹81,900 and ₹46,999. These are changing marketplace observations, not official list prices or guaranteed checkout prices; the snapshots do not establish a durable price comparison for a specific storage variant.

For the United States, Tom’s Guide reported on October 1, 2026 that the Galaxy S26 256GB starting price had risen from $899 to $999. That dated report does not establish a Nord 6 US price or confirm its US availability, so it cannot by itself answer which phone is cheaper there.

Samsung India notes that offers, promotions and storage availability vary by region and carrier; exchange discounts are subject to terms. Compare locally available versions at checkout, matching storage, seller and warranty coverage, and treat promotions or trade-in amounts as conditional rather than standard prices.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy S26 if you want a smaller, lighter phone, a dedicated telephoto lens, or the longer update period listed by 91mobiles. Confirm which processor and storage configuration is sold in your market.
- Choose the Nord 6 if you prefer a larger 165Hz display, a much larger listed battery and 80W charging. Verify local availability, exact configuration and seller terms before comparing its price with the S26.
Samsung described the S26 as reducing “the effort and number of steps required to get things done” in its February 26, 2026 global newsroom announcement. That is Samsung’s product description, not an independent finding about the phone’s performance.
Water resistance is not waterproofing
Samsung states that the S26’s IP68 rating is based on testing in up to 1.5m of freshwater for up to 30 minutes, and cautions that resistance can diminish with wear. 91mobiles lists IP68, IP66, IP69K and IP69 for the Nord 6; those third-party-listed ratings do not mean the phone is immune to water or damage in every situation. Avoid treating any rating as permission for unrestricted exposure.
