The Galaxy S26 Ultra has official specifications from Samsung, but an official iQOO 16 product page or regional sales listing was not found in the sources available for this comparison. That means a reliable specs verdict or price difference cannot yet be established. Here is what Samsung has confirmed—and what you should verify before treating iQOO 16 figures as final.
What is confirmed about the Galaxy S26 Ultra?
Samsung Mobile Press lists the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and an adaptive 1–120 Hz refresh rate. Its published camera system includes a 50 MP ultra-wide camera, a 200 MP wide camera, a 50 MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and 10x optical-quality zoom, a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 12 MP front camera.
Samsung lists the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor and three memory and storage configurations: 12 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 512 GB, and 16 GB + 1 TB. Samsung notes that availability may vary by country or region. See Samsung Mobile Press’ Galaxy S26 series specifications.
Are the iQOO 16 specifications confirmed?
Not by the official iQOO product information located for this comparison. The iQOO India store catalog lists phones but does not establish an iQOO 16 specification or sales page. An iQOO Community post dated September 30, 2026, claims the phone launched in China and gives specifications and prices; another community post claims an announcement at Snapdragon Summit. These are user-authored claims, not official product documentation. A third-party comparison page also provides details, but it does not verify them as official iQOO specifications.

Until iQOO publishes a product specification or regional announcement, treat reported iQOO 16 figures as unverified rather than as a sound basis for choosing between the phones.
What is the price difference?
A dependable price difference cannot be calculated from the available information. Samsung’s India store has a Galaxy S26 Ultra purchase listing, including a 16 GB + 1 TB variant in search results, but the checked sources do not establish a comparable official iQOO 16 price. The Samsung India listing confirms regional availability, not a like-for-like price comparison.

For a meaningful comparison, use prices from the same country and comparable sales sources, and match storage configurations. Do not subtract a price from one market from a price in another, or compare a launch price with a promotional offer.
Which phone is better?
There is not enough verified information to name a winner. Samsung’s specifications support a factual description of the S26 Ultra, but a fair comparison also needs confirmed iQOO 16 details. A chipset name alone cannot establish real-world or sustained performance, and incomplete specifications cannot support a reliable judgment about camera quality, battery life, charging, software support, durability, or value.

When official iQOO 16 information is available, compare the phones on these points:
- Country-specific prices for the same or closest storage configurations
- Display specifications and refresh-rate behavior
- Processor and independently established sustained performance
- Camera hardware and comparable evidence of image quality
- Battery capacity, charging, and software support
- Durability and availability in your region
What should buyers do now?
If you are considering the Galaxy S26 Ultra, use Samsung’s regional store for current local availability and pricing. If you are considering the iQOO 16, wait for an official iQOO specification page or a region-specific store listing before relying on reported specs, prices, or availability. The official iQOO Community post about the claimed launch and the separate post about a claimed announcement are not substitutes for those official product details.
