The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE and iQOO 16 differ most clearly on paper in display resolution and refresh rate: Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen with up to 120 Hz, while iQOO Community launch posts report a 6.85-inch 2K screen at 165 Hz. The price difference is not reliably established for a specific country: Samsung’s product information is regional, and the iQOO price found is a China-specific community-posted figure.

Which phone has the better display?
On the listed specifications, iQOO 16 has the larger, higher-resolution, faster-refreshing display: its community-reported 6.85-inch 2K, 165 Hz panel compares with Samsung’s official 6.7-inch FHD+, 120 Hz panel. Those numbers describe screen specifications, not measured image quality, brightness, battery impact, or gaming performance. The available evidence does not establish a controlled test to settle those questions.

How do the processors and cameras compare?
Processor
The Galaxy S26 FE uses Samsung’s listed Exynos 2500; iQOO Community posts name the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 for the iQOO 16. Chip names alone do not show which phone performs better in everyday use, sustained workloads, or games. That would require comparable independent testing, which is not established by these specifications.
Rear cameras
Samsung lists a 50 MP main, 12 MP, and 8 MP rear-camera arrangement, with optical 3x zoom on its UK page. An iQOO Community post reports three 50 MP rear cameras, including a periscope telephoto. Megapixel counts and lens descriptions do not establish which camera produces better photos or video; no controlled image-quality comparison is available here.

What is known about battery, charging, and software?
The iQOO Community launch posts report an 8,400 mAh battery and 100 W wired charging. The cited Samsung pages do not establish a directly comparable battery capacity or charging-rate figure, so a complete battery-and-charging comparison cannot be made from these sources.

Samsung’s launch announcement says the Galaxy S26 FE is the first S26-family phone to launch with One UI 9. The iQOO Community post reports Android 17 with OriginOS 7. These are launch-software claims; they do not establish regional software availability, update schedules, or how long either phone will receive support.

What is the price difference?
A single, reliable price difference cannot be given without knowing the market and matching the phones by storage tier, retailer type, and date. Samsung has regional listings, while the iQOO figure found is a China-specific starting price reported by iQOO Community, not a verified local authorized-retailer price for another country. Currency conversion alone would not account for local taxes, distribution, or availability.
The community posts report an iQOO 16 starting price of CNY 5,999 in China; they do not establish a matched Samsung price, a common storage configuration, or current authorized availability outside China. Confirm both phones’ local prices with authorized sellers before treating the difference as a buying comparison. iQOO Community launch/specification post · iQOO Community moderator post

- The Galaxy S25 FE features a large, immersive Dynamic AMOLED display with smooth refresh rate and enhanced brightness, delivering vivid colors and sharp clarity whether you're streaming, browsing, or using it outdoors.
Which specifications should guide your choice?
- Choose based on screen characteristics if resolution and refresh rate are priorities: the reported iQOO figures are higher, but are community-posted rather than confirmed in a global product specification page.
- Compare camera samples and independent reviews for image quality; the listed sensor resolutions and zoom hardware are not a substitute for testing.
- Check local, authorized pricing for the same storage capacity and purchase date before deciding which offers better value.
- Verify the exact regional model, software version, and update policy with the manufacturer or authorized seller before buying.
Sources and regional qualifications
Samsung’s announcement confirms the Galaxy S26 FE launch date and One UI 9 launch positioning. Samsung’s UK and India product pages provide regional hardware specifications. The iQOO 16 specifications and China starting price cited above are from iQOO Community posts; confirm them against an official local product page where one is available.
