The Galaxy S25 Ultra is the stronger fit if you want Samsung’s S Pen, DeX, a higher-resolution listed display, and a stated security-update endpoint. The vivo X200 Pro stands out on its listed battery capacity, wired charging speed, RAM and storage, and 200 MP telephoto design. Neither is an automatic winner: the price example available is an India snapshot from different retailers, and the specifications do not establish which phone takes better real-world photos or lasts longer.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra vs vivo X200 Pro at a glance
The figures below come from Samsung India and vivo Global specification pages, except the price snapshot, which is from 91mobiles. Configurations and availability vary by market; compare the exact regional models before buying.

Samsung lists the higher resolution: 3120 × 1440, compared with vivo’s 2800 × 1260. Both specifications list a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, while vivo specifies an adaptive range from 0.1 Hz to 120 Hz. That makes Samsung the clearer choice if resolution is your deciding specification; these figures alone do not establish which screen looks better in person.

These are different camera layouts, not a quality ranking. Megapixel counts and focal-length descriptions do not show how consistently either phone handles portraits, moving subjects, low light or video; the cited specifications are not controlled comparative camera tests.

Capacity and charging ratings do not translate directly into screen-on time or time to recharge in everyday use. Actual runtime depends on workload and conditions, and the regional limits on vivo’s battery and wireless-charging specifications matter when checking a particular model.
Memory, storage and regional model differences
The cited Samsung India specification page describes a 12 GB RAM, 256 GB storage SKU; vivo Global lists 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. This is a comparison of those cited configurations, not a claim that every market sells only those variants. Check storage, RAM and supported network bands for the exact model offered where you live. vivo’s specification page also cautions that network functionality depends on carrier and regional support.

Software, productivity and support evidence
Samsung India lists S Pen support and DeX, which may matter if you use a stylus or want a desktop-style interface. The same page gives a security-update-valid-until date of 31 January 2032. Samsung states that the S25 Ultra launched on 22 January 2025.
vivo Global lists Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15. The cited page does not provide a comparable guaranteed support duration, so the available specification evidence does not establish an equal-duration software-support comparison. Check the support terms for the specific regional model if update longevity is a priority.

India price difference: treat it as a snapshot
In the 91mobiles India comparison snapshot, the Galaxy S25 Ultra appeared at ₹99,999 from Amazon and the vivo X200 Pro at ₹89,999 from Flipkart, a displayed difference of ₹10,000 with Samsung higher. The sellers differ, and the listed configurations, stock, discounts and final checkout prices may not match. Compare the same storage tier and current local offers before deciding; this example does not establish a price difference for other countries.
Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Galaxy S25 Ultra if
- You specifically want S Pen support or Samsung DeX.
- The higher listed display resolution matters more to you than vivo’s adaptive refresh-rate specification.
- You value a stated security-update endpoint and the Samsung India page’s date of 31 January 2032.
Consider the vivo X200 Pro if
- You prioritize the listed 6000 mAh battery capacity and 90W wired charging, subject to regional model differences.
- You want the cited 16 GB RAM / 512 GB storage configuration.
- The 200 MP telephoto camera design and its stated 85 mm-equivalent focal length fit your photography interests.
This is a specification-based fit, not a hands-on verdict. If photo quality or battery endurance is the deciding factor, seek comparable independent testing for the exact regional versions rather than treating resolution or capacity as a result.
