The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is the stronger on-paper choice for display resolution and camera flexibility, while the Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 5 is listed with a larger battery, faster wired charging and a much lower India-market price. The right pick depends on whether you value zoom and a premium display or battery capacity and upfront cost.

Which phone has the better display?

The S25 Ultra has the larger panel at 6.9 inches, compared with the Redmi Turbo 5’s 6.59 inches, and both are listed at 120 Hz. The available sources agree on the Redmi’s 1268 × 2756 resolution, but disagree on Samsung’s: 91mobiles reports 1440 × 3120, while Gadgets360 reports 1400 × 3120. Because of that discrepancy, verify the exact Samsung SKU specifications rather than treating either third-party figure as definitive.

On the reported specifications, Samsung is the more compelling option if you prioritize a larger, higher-resolution screen. That does not, by itself, establish which display looks better in everyday use.

Which camera setup is more versatile?

The S25 Ultra is listed with a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide and two telephoto cameras rated at 10 MP and 50 MP. Samsung’s official Galaxy S25 Series availability announcement specifically confirms a new 50 MP ultrawide sensor. The Redmi Turbo 5 is listed with a 50 MP main and an 8 MP secondary rear camera.

That camera mix gives Samsung more reported focal-length options, particularly for ultrawide and telephoto shooting. Both comparison pages list a 20 MP Redmi selfie camera and a 12 MP Samsung selfie camera, but megapixel counts alone do not establish image quality, detail or low-light performance.

Gadgets360 reports the Redmi Turbo 5 as launched in India with a June 16, 2026 release date; that date was not confirmed by an official Xiaomi product or launch source in the available material. Before choosing it, verify that the exact phone is officially sold in your market and that its network bands, carrier compatibility and warranty suit your needs. Samsung’s German product page covers a specific business SKU, so its connectivity details should not be generalized to other regional models.

Which one should you buy?

Choose the Galaxy S25 Ultra if

  • You can confirm the phone’s local availability, regional compatibility and warranty before purchase.
