On the published specifications, the vivo T5 5G offers a larger, higher-resolution display and a higher stated battery capacity; the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE adds a dedicated 3x telephoto camera, wireless charging and a longer stated software-support commitment. A third-party India price snapshot updated September 14, 2026, puts the Samsung ₹18,991 higher, but that is not a guaranteed current checkout price and the compared configurations may differ.

What the India price difference means
Smartprix’s comparison page, last updated September 14, 2026, lists the Galaxy S25 FE at ₹53,990 and the vivo T5 5G at ₹34,999, a difference of ₹18,991. This is a third-party listing snapshot, not an official Samsung price or a guaranteed checkout total. Prices and availability can change, and the compared storage or RAM configurations may not match.

Which phone has the better display?
On listed panel specifications, the vivo T5 5G has the larger and higher-resolution screen: 6.83 inches at 2800 × 1260, compared with Samsung’s 6.7-inch FHD+ display. vivo states that its 144 Hz refresh rate is available only in supported apps and games; Samsung lists up to 120 Hz. These figures do not establish comparative brightness, color accuracy or how consistently either phone runs at its maximum refresh rate.

Does the T5’s larger battery mean longer battery life?
Its stated capacity is higher: vivo gives the T5 a typical capacity of 7,050 mAh and a rated capacity of 6,850 mAh, while Samsung lists 4,900 mAh for the S25 FE. Capacity is not an endurance test. Screen use, software, signal conditions and other factors affect how long a charge lasts, and the listed figures alone do not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use.

Which camera setup fits your needs?
The clearest hardware distinction is the Samsung’s dedicated 8 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Its listed rear cameras also include a 50 MP main camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide. vivo lists a 50 MP Sony IMX882 OIS main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide, with no telephoto camera listed in the cited specifications. The vivo India store lists a 32 MP front camera; Samsung lists 12 MP.
These hardware details do not prove which phone takes better photos or video. Megapixel counts alone are not a reliable quality verdict, and the cited sources do not provide an independent head-to-head camera test.
Charging and software support
Charging
Samsung lists 45 W wired charging and up to 15 W wireless charging. vivo lists 44 W wired FlashCharge; the reviewed vivo store specifications do not list wireless charging. Confirm supported charging accessories and local product specifications for the exact model you plan to buy.

Updates
Samsung’s UK product page states up to seven OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. vivo describes different commitments by region: five OS generations and five years of security updates in Europe, and a six-year period from global public release in non-European regions. Check the policy for your country and exact SKU; the cited Samsung commitment is from its UK page.
What the water-resistance ratings do—and do not—say
Samsung lists an IP68 rating. vivo claims IP68 and IP69 for the T5 under controlled laboratory conditions and cautions that resistance is not permanent. Its product page says: “This product is not a professional waterproof phone; resistance to splashes, water, and dust is not permanent and may be reduced with daily use.” Neither rating means a phone is waterproof or immune to damage in every situation.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the vivo T5 5G if
- You prioritize the larger, higher-resolution display and higher listed refresh rate.
- You want the higher stated battery capacity on paper.
- The cited India price snapshot is relevant to you and the current price and configuration check out.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE if
- You want a dedicated telephoto camera with listed 3x optical zoom.
- Wireless charging matters to you.
- Samsung’s stated UK software-support commitment better suits your plans, after confirming the local policy.
Neither set of specifications establishes an overall winner for performance, camera quality, thermals or real-world battery life. Make the decision around the features you value and the final price for the exact regional model and configuration.
