The vivo X200 FE lists a larger battery, faster wired charging and a 3x optical periscope camera; the Samsung Galaxy S24 is smaller and lighter, and Samsung has announced seven Android OS generations and seven years of security updates for the S24 series. There is no reliable universal price gap: the available India listing compares different storage configurations, and both specifications and prices depend on market and variant.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not independent test results. They establish hardware differences, but not which phone takes better photos, lasts longer in real-world use, charges faster under every condition or performs better in sustained workloads.
Which phone is better for your priorities?
Choose the Galaxy S24 if a smaller, lighter phone matters
At 167 g, the S24 is 19 g lighter than the India-listed X200 FE, and its listed height and width are also smaller. It may suit someone who prioritizes a more compact handset. Samsung’s stated S24-series software commitment is another concrete point to weigh if long-term OS and security updates are important.
Consider the X200 FE for its listed battery and charging specifications
The India X200 FE page lists a 6500 mAh typical battery and 90 W FlashCharge, compared with the S24’s listed 4000 mAh typical capacity. These figures favor vivo on paper, but they do not establish actual battery life or a specific charging time; usage, conditions and regional model matter.

Compare camera hardware, not assumed photo quality
Both India specifications list 3x optical zoom. The X200 FE uses a 50 MP periscope telephoto module, while the S24 lists a 10 MP telephoto camera. The X200 FE also lists a 50 MP main camera and 8 MP ultrawide; the S24 lists a 50 MP main and 12 MP ultrawide. Megapixel counts and lens design alone cannot establish which produces better photos or video. No reviewed independent test resolves that question.
Do not choose by processor name without matching regional models
The India X200 FE page identifies a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ 4 nm processor. Samsung’s India S24 page lists CPU core count and clock rates, while the chipset can vary by region and model. Confirm the exact S24 SKU sold in your market before making a chipset or performance comparison; the listed specifications do not provide benchmark results.

Why regional specifications matter
The X200 FE is not one identical configuration worldwide. vivo’s Europe specifications list 12 GB/256 GB in Austria and Germany, and 12 GB/512 GB in Spain, Poland and Italy. They list a 5300 mAh typical battery in Austria and Germany, compared with 6500 mAh in other listed European markets. The India page lists 12 GB/256 GB and 16 GB/512 GB configurations, both with 6500 mAh typical capacity. Network-band support and box contents can also vary.

What is the price difference?
There is no defensible single price difference without specifying country, date, seller and storage tier. The available current India comparison snapshot lists a Galaxy S24 Snapdragon 256 GB configuration at ₹55,999 and a vivo X200 FE 16 GB/512 GB configuration at ₹59,998. These are different configurations and are not official manufacturer prices, so the ₹3,999 gap is not a like-for-like comparison. The listing was indexed by Smartprix on the research date; verify current seller prices before purchasing.
For dated context rather than a current comparison, Samsung Newsroom India announced 2024 launch MOPs of ₹79,999 for the Galaxy S24 8 GB/256 GB and ₹89,999 for the 8 GB/512 GB. Launch pricing is not the same as a current street price, and these S24 configurations do not establish a contemporaneous price comparison with the X200 FE.

- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
Bottom line: which one should you buy?
On the India specifications, the X200 FE offers the larger listed display resolution, higher typical battery capacity, 90 W wired charging and a 50 MP 3x optical periscope telephoto camera. The Galaxy S24 is smaller and lighter, and comes with Samsung’s stated S24-series update commitment. Decide based on those priorities, then compare exact regional SKUs and same-date prices for matching storage. The available specifications do not establish a winner for camera quality, real-world endurance or performance.
