The Samsung Galaxy S24 5G is the smaller, lighter choice; the vivo V70 Elite gives you a larger display, a much higher stated battery capacity, 90 W wired charging and a dedicated 3× optical telephoto camera. Neither is an across-the-board winner on specifications alone. Choose by the features you value, then compare the same storage tier and seller before judging price.

The Samsung figures are from Samsung India’s Galaxy S24 specifications. vivo’s figures are from its V70 Elite product page and India e-store listing. The platform and update comparison is reported by 91mobiles; verify the latest software and support wording with each manufacturer.
Which phone is smaller and easier to carry?
The Galaxy S24 is the more compact and lighter phone in the published India specifications. At 147.0 × 70.6 mm and 167 g, it is shorter, narrower and lighter than every listed V70 Elite finish. The vivo is 157.52 mm tall and 74.33 mm wide, weighing 187 g or 194 g depending on finish.

How do the displays compare?
The V70 Elite has the larger, higher-resolution display on paper: 6.59 inches at 2750 × 1260, compared with the S24’s 6.2-inch-class 2340 × 1080 panel. Samsung specifies Dynamic AMOLED 2X and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The cited vivo store listing identifies an AMOLED panel but does not establish a directly comparable refresh-rate figure.
Pick the vivo if you want more screen area for reading, video or other on-screen content. Pick the Samsung if you prefer a smaller phone. Resolution and panel labels do not, by themselves, establish which screen looks better; these specifications are not a substitute for a direct display-quality test.

What is different about the cameras?
The rear-camera arrangements take different approaches. Samsung lists three rear cameras at 50 MP, 10 MP and 12 MP. vivo specifies a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50 MP telephoto with OIS and 3× optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. The V70 Elite also has a listed 50 MP front camera.
When the V70 Elite’s telephoto camera may suit you
A dedicated 3× optical telephoto camera gives the V70 Elite a stated camera option for subjects farther away, such as portraits framed from a greater distance. vivo describes it as a ZEISS Night Telephoto Camera and says it is co-engineered with ZEISS; that is the manufacturer’s description, not independent evidence of image quality.

What the specifications do not tell you
Megapixel counts and lens labels cannot establish which phone takes better photos. No independent controlled head-to-head camera test is established by the cited material, so choose on the camera hardware you are more likely to use rather than treating the specifications as a quality verdict.
Which has the bigger battery and faster charging?
vivo lists a 6,500 mAh typical battery for the V70 Elite, with a rated capacity of 6,320 mAh, and 90 W FlashCharge. Samsung lists the S24 at 4,000 mAh typical and 3,880 mAh rated. These manufacturer capacity figures make the vivo the higher-capacity option on paper.

What comes in the box?
Samsung says the Galaxy S24 does not include a travel adapter and notes that box contents may vary by region. The vivo e-store listing includes a charger, cable, case and applied protective film. Verify the package contents for the exact India SKU and seller before adding accessories to your cost calculation; a separate charger is not automatically necessary for every buyer.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy S24 5G if you want a smaller, lighter handset, based on the published dimensions and weights.
- Choose the vivo V70 Elite if you want a larger display, higher stated battery capacity, 90 W charging specification or a dedicated 3× optical telephoto camera.
