The vivo T4x 5G gives you a larger display, a higher stated battery capacity and faster rated charging; the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G counters with a Super AMOLED panel, optical image stabilization and an ultrawide camera. Neither specification sheet settles real-world battery life, speed or photo quality. Your choice depends on which features matter more—and whether the phone is actually in stock at a sensible price.

Which phone has the better display?
The Galaxy M34 is the choice to consider if you prefer AMOLED. Its 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel is smaller than the T4x’s 6.72-inch LCD, but panel type and screen size are different priorities: a larger display is not automatically preferable to an AMOLED one. Both are listed at 120Hz. vivo’s 1,050-nit figure is HBM, while Samsung describes its figure as peak brightness up to 1,000 nits, so they are not necessarily directly comparable measurements.
Which has the stronger camera setup?
On listed hardware, the M34 is more versatile: it has OIS on its 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera. The T4x lists a 50MP autofocus main camera and a 2MP depth camera. Samsung also lists a higher-resolution front camera, 13MP versus 8MP. These specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos; megapixel counts alone are not a reliable quality verdict, and the cited sources do not provide a controlled camera comparison.

The vivo T4x has the higher stated capacity—6,500mAh typical, with 6,360mAh rated—and supports charging up to 44W. Samsung lists 6,000mAh typical capacity and 25W charging support for the M34. Those figures favor vivo on paper for capacity and charging rate, but they do not prove longer runtime or a particular charging time. Usage, software, charger and conditions affect both results.

Chipsets and benchmark results
The T4x uses the newer listed chipset, the Dimensity 7300 5G, while the M34 has Samsung’s Exynos 1280. 91mobiles reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 2,827 for the T4x and 2,036 for the M34. These are that publisher’s test figures, not a universal guarantee of day-to-day speed; consult its test methodology before treating them as directly comparable or repeatable. 91mobiles comparison page
Software update commitments
Samsung announced the M34 with up to four generations of OS upgrades and up to five years of security updates. That is a specific launch-era promise, not confirmation of how much support remains today. vivo’s T4x specifications page lists Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 but does not give a matching support-duration promise. That absence on the consulted page should not be read as proof that vivo provides no updates.

Price difference in India: check the live listing
There is no reliable fixed price gap to quote without checking current stock, variant and offers. Samsung’s July 2023 announcement gave introductory all-inclusive prices of ₹16,999 for the 6GB/128GB M34 and ₹18,999 for the 8GB/128GB version, with select bank cards. At the time of 91mobiles’ cited comparison listing, it showed the vivo T4x at ₹16,999 on Flipkart and the M34 at ₹13,999 marked out of stock, with no available store shown for the M34 in its price comparison. Samsung named Amazon, Samsung.com and selected retail stores as M34 sales channels at launch, but that announcement does not establish present availability. Current Amazon pricing and stock were not verified for either phone.

Consider the Samsung Galaxy M34 if
- You prefer a Super AMOLED display over a larger LCD.
- You want OIS listed for the main camera and a dedicated ultrawide camera.
- You value the M34’s higher stated selfie-camera resolution or Samsung’s published launch-era update commitment.
- You find a unit in stock at a price that makes sense, and verify its current software support before purchase.
Consider the vivo T4x if
- You want a larger 6.72-inch screen and prefer its LCD form factor.
- You prioritize higher stated battery capacity and a higher maximum charging rating.
- You prefer the newer listed Dimensity 7300 platform and Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15.
- IP64 protection or the listed in-box charger, case, cable and protective film matter to you; confirm the box contents for the exact SKU.
91mobiles also reports a PCMark battery-test result of 14 hours 11 minutes for the T4x and 14 hours 52 minutes for the M34. These are publisher-reported results, not a general battery-life promise; the cited page’s methodology and conditions should be checked before interpreting the difference as a repeatable head-to-head outcome. 91mobiles
