91mobiles and Smartprix report a 6.72-inch LCD with a 120 Hz refresh rate for the Moto. A higher refresh rate can make scrolling and supported animations look smoother, while LCD and AMOLED are different display technologies with different image characteristics. These Moto details are third-party claims; check the exact SKU and its official specifications before treating them as settled.

Which camera setup is more compelling?
Samsung officially lists a 50 MP main rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside 5 MP and 2 MP rear cameras, plus a 13 MP front camera. OIS helps counter small camera movements, particularly useful when taking stills in less-than-ideal light or recording handheld video. It does not guarantee better results in every scene.
91mobiles reports a 32 MP front camera for the moto g max, but the retrieved Motorola page does not substantiate that figure or provide a comparable full camera specification. Megapixel counts alone do not establish image quality: sensor, lens, processing, lighting, and stabilization all matter.

What do the battery and charging figures mean?
Samsung specifies a 5,000 mAh typical battery and 25 W charging for the M17. Both figures are manufacturer-listed specifications; they do not establish real-world endurance or charging time, which depend on use and conditions.
Comparison pages list a 7,000 mAh battery for the moto g max. If accurate for the phone being sold, that larger capacity may be attractive to buyers prioritizing battery size. The retrieved official Motorola listing does not confirm the battery figure or provide charging details, so do not infer its charging speed or actual battery life from capacity alone.

Which phone has the clearer software-support commitment?
Samsung’s India launch announcement promises six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Its product page gives a security-update period through 30 September 2031. These are Samsung’s published commitments and listing, not independent confirmation of future delivery.
The comparison data reports shorter support for the Moto, but Motorola’s own support promise was not verified in the retrieved official listing. If update longevity is a deciding factor, ask the seller for the exact model number and consult Motorola’s support information for that SKU rather than relying on an aggregator comparison.

The launch figures are historical, not current price guarantees.
