The vivo T4 Pro has the more clearly specified camera and charging hardware: it lists a 50MP OIS periscope telephoto camera, a 6,500mAh typical battery and 90W charging. The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G stands out for microSD expansion up to 2TB and a stated security-update validity date of 31 December 2031. Official India price examples are ₹21,999 for Samsung’s 6GB/128GB model and ₹27,999 for vivo’s 8GB/128GB model, a ₹6,000 gap between different RAM configurations—not a like-for-like price comparison.
Samsung Galaxy F36 vs vivo T4 Pro: specs at a glance

Which phone has better specs?
There is no single winner across every specification. The T4 Pro lists stronger headline camera hardware, more battery capacity and a faster charging rating. The F36 offers a confirmed 120Hz display refresh rate, microSD expansion and a calendar date for its security-update validity. For processing performance, the listed chipset names alone do not establish which phone is faster: the Samsung page does not identify its chipset, and neither manufacturer page provides comparable benchmark results.

Camera hardware
The clearest difference is the T4 Pro’s dedicated 50MP OIS periscope telephoto camera. Its listed rear setup also includes a 50MP OIS main camera and 2MP bokeh camera. Samsung lists a 50MP, 8MP and 2MP rear-camera combination, OIS and up to 10x digital zoom, but does not identify a dedicated telephoto lens in that camera list. This is a hardware comparison, not proof of better photos: image quality depends on more than megapixel counts and cannot be ranked from these specifications alone.
For selfies, vivo lists a 32MP front camera versus Samsung’s 13MP unit. Samsung also lists 4K UHD recording at 30fps; the captured vivo page does not state a front-camera video resolution. Higher megapixel counts do not, by themselves, establish better image quality.

Display and processor
Both phones list AMOLED displays with FHD-class resolution. Samsung explicitly specifies refresh rates up to 120Hz; the captured vivo specification gives no refresh-rate figure, so it cannot support a refresh-rate comparison. The vivo page names a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform, while Samsung lists an octa-core processor and its CPU speeds but not the chipset name. No benchmark data is provided to settle real-world speed or gaming performance.
Battery, charging and storage: what matters in daily use?
vivo lists a 6,500mAh typical battery and 90W fast charging. Samsung lists a 5,000mAh typical battery and up to 17 hours of video playback, while its captured specification does not establish a charging wattage. Battery capacity and a charging rating are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements of endurance or charge time; actual battery life can vary, as Samsung notes.

The F36’s practical storage distinction is microSD support up to 2TB. Its SIM/microSD tray is hybrid, so the card shares the slot with a SIM rather than using a separate dedicated tray. Vivo lists internal-storage options up to 256GB in the captured product information, with no microSD support stated there.
Software support: how to compare the promises
Samsung states that Galaxy F36 security updates are valid until 31 December 2031. vivo describes support as four years of Android OS updates and six years of security updates for the T4 Pro. These claims use different formats: Samsung provides an end date, while vivo provides durations. The captured pages do not establish a shared starting point for vivo’s durations, so converting them into a comparable calendar end date would be speculative.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the vivo T4 Pro if a dedicated periscope telephoto camera, higher listed battery capacity or 90W charging are priorities, and its price and availability suit you.
- Choose the Samsung Galaxy F36 if you want a stated 120Hz display, removable microSD storage up to 2TB, or a published security-update end date.
- Compare exact variants before deciding if price is the main factor: the surfaced ₹6,000 difference compares 6GB RAM on Samsung with 8GB on vivo, and does not establish the difference between equivalent-memory configurations.
