The Samsung Galaxy F16 5G is the stronger pick if you want a sharper FHD+ sAMOLED screen or an announced 8GB RAM option; the Galaxy F70e 5G offers a larger stated battery and a 120Hz display. Samsung announced both with the Dimensity 6300, 25W charging and six generations of OS upgrades plus six years of security updates. Their launch prices put the F70e ₹1,000 above the F16 at the 4GB/128GB level, but those offers were announced on different dates and are not a current price comparison.

Specifications are from Samsung’s F16 launch announcement, F16 product page, F70e launch announcement and F70e product page. Samsung lists the F16 battery at 5000 mAh typical and the F70e at 6000 mAh typical. Actual battery life varies with use and network conditions.
Which phone has the better display?
The F16 has the documented resolution and display-technology advantage: Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ sAMOLED panel. The F70e uses a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD with a listed resolution of 720 × 1600 and refresh rate up to 120Hz.
Choose the F16 if screen sharpness and sAMOLED are your priorities. The F70e’s stated 120Hz refresh rate may matter more if you prefer a higher refresh rate for scrolling and compatible content. The listed specifications alone do not establish which screen looks better to you in person.

How do the cameras compare?
Samsung describes the F16 as having a 50MP triple rear-camera setup. The F70e’s listed rear configuration is a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. The F16 also has the higher listed front-camera resolution, 13MP versus 8MP on the F70e.
These figures describe camera configuration, not image quality. The available specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos or selfies, and the F16 launch announcement does not verify the identity or resolution of each additional rear lens.

Which has the larger battery, and how similar are charging and performance?
The F70e has the larger stated typical battery capacity: 6000 mAh compared with the F16’s 5000 mAh. Capacity alone cannot predict how long either phone will last; usage and network conditions affect battery life.
Samsung announced the same MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and 25W charging rate for both models. That makes the listed processor and charging rate a tie, not proof of identical real-world speed or charging time. No comparative performance, battery-endurance or charging-time test is established by these specifications.

Samsung announced the F16 prices on 13 March 2025 and the F70e prices on 9 February 2026. At the 4GB/128GB level, the F70e’s announced net effective price was ₹1,000 higher than the F16’s introductory price. Samsung also described an additional ₹500 special launch offer for the F70e for a limited period; that offer should not be assumed to remain available.

Samsung cautions that water and dust resistance can diminish with wear; IP54 is not a promise of protection for beach or pool use.

Choose the Galaxy F16 5G if
- You prioritize its FHD+ sAMOLED display over the F70e’s HD+ PLS LCD.
- You want the higher listed front-camera resolution.
- You need an announced 8GB/128GB configuration; the cited F70e launch announcement lists only 4GB and 6GB RAM variants.
Choose the Galaxy F70e 5G if
