The better buy depends first on where you shop: the confirmed Samsung price here is a U.S. launch price, while the current OnePlus prices are listed for India, so they cannot be compared as a direct price difference. On the specifications documented by OnePlus, the Nord 6 stands out for its high-refresh display, large battery, fast charging and stated software-support term. The available Samsung announcement confirms the Galaxy A57 5G’s U.S. launch price and availability, but not enough matched specifications to call a spec-by-spec winner.
Price: compare phones in the same country
The verified prices below come from different markets and describe different things. Do not subtract them or treat the result as a meaningful price gap.
| Phone and configuration | Market and price | What the figure means |
|---|---|---|
| Samsung Galaxy A57 5G | United States: $549.99 | Samsung’s announced U.S. starting price for the April 9, 2026 availability launch; not a current global price. Samsung Newsroom US |
| OnePlus Nord 6, 8GB/256GB | India: ₹42,999 | Price listed on OnePlus India’s purchase page when checked; prices can change. OnePlus India |
| OnePlus Nord 6, 12GB/256GB | India: ₹47,999 | Price listed on OnePlus India’s purchase page when checked; prices can change. OnePlus India |
For a useful buying comparison, check both phones’ live prices in your country and match storage as closely as possible. Keep standard listed prices separate from bank offers, exchange discounts and launch promotions. Third-party comparison pages have shown inconsistent or unavailable prices for these models, so manufacturer listings are the stronger reference.
What the confirmed specifications show
The manufacturer information available for this comparison supports several concrete Nord 6 figures, but not a complete matched specification sheet for the Galaxy A57 5G. Missing Samsung values are not evidence that the phone lacks a feature; they simply cannot be confirmed from the cited material.

OnePlus also publishes battery-endurance, gaming-frame-rate and connectivity results. Those are manufacturer claims under stated test conditions, not independent measurements or direct comparisons with Samsung. They should not be read as proof that the Nord 6 will outperform the A57 in every workload.
How to choose between them
Choose based on price in your market
Begin with the actual price where you live, using the same currency and a similar storage tier. The U.S. Samsung launch MSRP and India OnePlus listing do not answer which phone is cheaper for an individual buyer in another market.

Prioritize the Nord 6’s documented hardware figures if they match your needs
The Nord 6’s listed 165 Hz display, 9000 mAh battery and 80 W charging are useful specifications to weigh if smooth scrolling, battery capacity or charging speed matter to you. They are manufacturer-listed figures, not a substitute for an independent comparison of brightness, battery life or charging time in real use.

OnePlus states four Android OS updates and six years of security updates for the Nord 6. The cited Samsung announcement does not establish a matching Galaxy A57 support duration, so confirm Samsung’s applicable support terms for your region before treating software longevity as a deciding point.

Do not pick a camera or performance winner from this evidence alone
No independent head-to-head test of these phones is established here. The available OnePlus lab claims do not establish comparative sustained performance, camera versatility or image quality. If those are your priorities, compare current camera samples and independent tests of both phones before buying rather than inferring a winner from a processor name or a manufacturer result.
