The Samsung Galaxy A57 is the clearer choice if long-term software support and a more versatile rear-camera setup matter most. The OnePlus Nord CE 6 5G has the stronger listed hardware for screen refresh rate, battery capacity and charging speed—but its specifications and price here come from secondary sources, and Samsung’s official US launch price cannot be directly compared with India listings.
At a glance: the main differences

Samsung’s specifications and support terms come from its March 25, 2026 US announcement. The Nord CE 6 figures are reported by 91mobiles, rather than verified against an official OnePlus specification page. Treat that distinction as important when weighing the comparison.
How much does the Galaxy A57 cost compared with the Nord CE 6?
There is no valid single price difference across the figures available: they refer to different markets and listing conditions. Samsung announced the Galaxy A57 in the United States at a starting price of $549.99, with US availability beginning April 9, 2026. Separately, 91mobiles showed India listings of ₹37,999 for the Nord CE 6 on Amazon and ₹58,999 for the Galaxy A57, with the A57 marked out of stock, when its comparison page was accessed October 7, 2026.

The India listings imply a ₹21,000 gap at that snapshot, but it is not a dependable current buying price: stock status can change, and the two listings may not be comparable in configuration or seller terms. Do not subtract an India rupee listing from Samsung’s US dollar launch price. For a purchase decision, compare available units in your country with the same storage configuration, seller type, warranty and taxes.

Which display suits your priorities?
The A57 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED+ display with a refresh rate up to 120 Hz, according to Samsung. 91mobiles lists the Nord CE 6 at 6.78 inches and 144 Hz. On listed specifications, the OnePlus screen is slightly larger and can refresh more frequently, which may appeal to readers who value smooth scrolling or games that support higher refresh rates.

Camera flexibility: more lenses versus higher listed selfie resolution
Samsung lists three rear cameras: a 50 MP wide camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide and a 5 MP macro, plus a 12 MP front camera. The reported Nord CE 6 setup has a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP secondary rear camera and a 32 MP front camera.

The A57 offers a specifically identified ultra-wide camera, giving it a documented option for fitting more of a scene into a shot. The Nord CE 6’s reported 32 MP selfie-camera resolution is higher on paper, but megapixel counts alone do not predict detail, low-light results, skin tones or overall image quality. No comparable camera test in the cited sources establishes a winner.
Battery capacity and charging: what the numbers do—and do not—say
Samsung specifies a typical 5,000 mAh battery for the A57. 91mobiles reports an 8,000 mAh battery and 80 W charging for the Nord CE 6, compared with 45 W charging for the A57. Those listed figures favor the Nord CE 6 for capacity and maximum charging rate.

Battery capacity and charging wattage are not measured endurance or charging-time results. Actual screen-on time and charge duration depend on usage, network, settings, charger and other conditions; the cited figures do not establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use. Samsung notes that the charger is sold separately, so check charger compatibility and what is included with the specific regional package before buying.
Software support: Samsung publishes a commitment
Samsung says supported Galaxy devices receive up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates. The company cautions that update timing and availability vary by model and market. The available OnePlus comparison sources do not establish an official Nord CE 6 update commitment, so it would be misleading to claim that Samsung definitively offers longer support without a verified OnePlus policy for the same model and market.

Which phone makes more sense for you?
- Lean toward the Galaxy A57 if the published Samsung support terms, an identified ultra-wide rear camera or Samsung’s official US launch price are central to your decision.
- Consider the Nord CE 6 if your local listing confirms the reported configuration and you prioritize a 144 Hz display, larger stated battery or faster stated charging.
- Wait to compare locally if price is decisive: the available India snapshot includes an out-of-stock A57, while Samsung’s $549.99 figure is a US launch price, not a current price in every market.
