The vivo T5 5G has the larger, sharper listed display and a higher-capacity battery; the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G offers a 120Hz display specification, a three-camera rear setup and Samsung’s One UI software. Those spec differences do not establish which phone takes better photos or lasts longer in everyday use. Price evidence is also not a like-for-like current comparison: Samsung’s published figures are launch prices for 2025, while vivo’s is a selected-variant store listing observed in 2026.

Specifications and the listed price details come from the Samsung Galaxy A56 product information, vivo T5 5G product information, vivo India Official Store and Samsung’s 3 March 2025 India launch announcement. Manufacturer specifications are not independent comparative test results.
Which phone has the better display?
On published size and resolution, the vivo T5 5G has the advantage: its 6.83-inch, 2800 × 1260 AMOLED panel is larger and higher-resolution than the A56’s 6.7-inch-class, 1080 × 2340 Super AMOLED display. Samsung specifies a 120Hz refresh rate. The reviewed vivo product information does not establish its refresh rate, so these sources do not support a claim that either screen is smoother.
How do the cameras differ?
The A56 lists three rear cameras: a 50MP main, 12MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro. The T5 lists a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide. Samsung lists OIS for the A56, but the cited extract does not specify which camera it applies to. For selfies, vivo lists 32MP and Samsung 12MP. These resolution and camera-count differences do not show which phone produces better images; no comparative photo testing is established here.

Does the vivo T5 last longer on a charge?
vivo lists a 7050mAh battery for the T5, compared with Samsung’s 5000mAh typical capacity for the A56. That gives the T5 the higher stated capacity, but capacity alone cannot establish actual runtime: usage, network conditions, display settings and software all matter. Charging specifications are close, at 44W FlashCharge for vivo and 45W for Samsung; those wattage figures do not by themselves establish charging time.
What are the India prices, and is the ₹7,000 gap fair?
Samsung India announced the A56 at ₹41,999 for 8GB/128GB, ₹44,999 for 8GB/256GB and ₹47,999 for 12GB/256GB on 3 March 2025. Its announcement also mentioned launch storage-upgrade offers; those were launch offers, not a guarantee of current availability. The vivo India Official Store page accessed in 2026 showed ₹34,999 for a selected 6GB/128GB T5 listing and ₹49,999 as its MRP. Prices can change, and the source did not verify prices for every T5 configuration.

The ₹7,000 arithmetic difference between ₹41,999 and ₹34,999 compares Samsung’s historical 8GB/128GB launch price with vivo’s observed 6GB/128GB store listing. It is not a same-date, matching-configuration price comparison or proof of a current saving. Check both brands’ current Indian prices for the same RAM and storage tier before deciding which offers better value.
