Samsung Galaxy A56 vs OPPO Reno15: specification comparison
The Samsung figures below come from a 91mobiles comparison listing; the Reno15 figures come from OPPO India’s official specifications. That makes the evidence stronger for Reno15’s listed specifications than for the A56 figures, and neither set of specifications alone establishes real-world quality or performance.

What the differences mean in everyday use
Screen size and resolution
The A56 is listed with a screen that is 0.11 inches larger. OPPO lists more pixel dimensions for the Reno15, but those figures do not by themselves establish which display looks better; brightness, color, calibration and other factors are not compared here.

OPPO’s official specification lists a dedicated 50MP telephoto camera with OIS, alongside a 50MP main camera with OIS. The A56 listing instead specifies a 50MP main, 12MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro camera. The Reno15 also has a higher listed front-camera resolution. These hardware differences may matter if you want a telephoto lens or take many selfies, but megapixels and camera counts do not prove which phone produces better photos or video.

Battery and charging
OPPO lists a 6500mAh typical capacity (6335mAh rated) and charging up to 80W; the secondary comparison lists 5000mAh and 45W for the A56. The stated capacities and charging ratings favor the Reno15 on paper, but they do not establish actual battery life or charging time under a particular user’s conditions.
Chipsets
The listed chipsets are Exynos 1580 for the A56 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 for the Reno15. Without independent, controlled performance testing, these names are not enough to identify a speed or gaming winner.

OPPO India announced these launch prices on 8 January 2026. OPPO said sales began on 13 January 2026 through Amazon, Flipkart, retail outlets and its e-store. Launch prices are not guaranteed current offers.

Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the Galaxy A56 5G if a slightly larger listed screen or a lower current price on a matched configuration matters most. Confirm the live price and variant before deciding.
- Consider the OPPO Reno15 5G if its listed telephoto hardware, higher stated battery capacity and faster charging align better with your priorities. Look for independent camera and battery reviews if those are central to your choice.
