What the processor difference does—and does not—tell you
Samsung lists the Exynos 1580 in the A56 and Exynos 1480 in the F56. That identifies different chipsets, but it does not by itself establish which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming, or sustained workloads. The cited material contains no independent benchmark results or comparative hands-on testing, so a performance winner cannot be responsibly named from these specifications alone.

Where the phones match
Display, battery, and charging
Both have a 6.7-inch-class FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery, and support for 45W charging according to Samsung’s launch materials. Samsung labels the A56 screen Super AMOLED and the F56 screen Super AMOLED+. Those names are the manufacturers’ descriptions; the available specifications do not establish a measured difference in brightness, color, or battery endurance.

Which one should you buy?
Consider the A56 if
- You prefer its documented Exynos 1580 chipset, while recognizing that the available sources do not prove a performance advantage.
- Its launch-era Awesome Intelligence positioning matters to you.
- You find a current offer that makes its price worthwhile against the F56 at the same storage capacity and from a comparable seller.
Consider the F56 if
- You value the slightly slimmer 7.2mm body and Samsung’s stated Gorilla Glass Victus+ front-and-back protection.
- The Exynos 1480 configuration and the actual current price suit your needs; the chipset name alone is not a performance verdict.
- You want the lower historical India launch price, while understanding that it is not a current-price guarantee.
For either phone, base a purchase on a live, like-for-like price and the features you actually value—not on the launch-price gap as though it were still the market price.
What comes in the box?
Samsung’s official A56 buying page says its box includes the smartphone, data cable, and ejection pin; a travel adapter is not included. The cited material does not establish the F56’s in-box contents, so check the listing for the exact variant and market before assuming the package is the same. See Samsung’s A56 product page.
