There is no single worldwide price difference between the Samsung Galaxy A56 and Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: it depends on the country, storage, seller, and current offer. Compare same-market prices for matching configurations before deciding. On specifications, the A56 has a clearly stated software-support promise, while the Edge 60 Fusion review configuration lists a higher-resolution curved display and faster wired charging. Which matters more depends on your priorities and the exact regional model.

| Storage and RAM | Samsung’s U.S. listing offers 128GB and 256GB; its India page lists an 8GB/256GB configuration. Availability varies by market (Samsung India; Samsung U.S.) | 8GB RAM and 256GB storage in TechRadar’s reviewed configuration; verify local SKU |
The Motorola figures above describe the model TechRadar reviewed, not a guarantee that every regional version has the same components. Motorola maintains an official specifications record; confirm the regional SKU before buying or relying on a specific feature.
How to compare the price difference fairly
Use prices from the same country and date, and match storage, network status, seller, and condition. Do not subtract prices listed in different currencies or treat a launch price as today’s retail price.

| Phone and market | Dated price reference | What it represents |
|---|---|---|
| Galaxy A56 5G, United States | $499.99 starting price | Samsung’s U.S. launch-context price for availability later in 2025; the announcement listed 128GB and 256GB versions. It is not a current price quote (Samsung Newsroom U.S.) |
| Edge 60 Fusion, United Kingdom | £299 | TechRadar’s July 18, 2025 review reported this list price for a 256GB model; it is historical reference pricing, not a current quote (TechRadar) |
| Edge 60 Fusion, Australia | AU$699 | TechRadar’s July 18, 2025 review reported this list price for a 256GB model; it is not directly comparable with the U.S. price (TechRadar) |
These references do not establish which phone currently costs less in your market. To calculate a useful difference, find the current price of each phone in the same country and currency, for the same storage tier and condition, then subtract the lower price from the higher one. Check whether either listing is carrier-locked, refurbished, or dependent on a promotion.

Which display suits you better?
Both cited configurations have a 6.7-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The A56 uses a flat Super AMOLED panel at FHD+ resolution, according to Samsung. TechRadar describes its Edge 60 Fusion review unit as having a quad-curved pOLED panel at 2712 × 1220. The Motorola review configuration therefore has more listed pixels, but the available evidence does not establish which display looks better in a controlled comparison. Choose based on whether you prefer a flat screen or curved edges, and confirm the exact Motorola version locally.
Camera specifications: stabilization matters as well as megapixels
Samsung’s launch specification gives the A56 a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside 12MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro cameras. TechRadar’s Edge review configuration has a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide, and a 32MP front camera. The A56’s documented OIS is a useful specification to compare, but megapixel counts alone do not show which phone takes better photos. No controlled head-to-head camera results are established here.

Battery capacity and charging
Samsung lists a 5,000mAh typical battery capacity for the A56 and support for 45W charging. Samsung notes that the typical capacity is based on laboratory testing and actual battery life varies. TechRadar reports a 5,200mAh battery and 68W wired charging for its Edge 60 Fusion review configuration. Those capacity and charging figures do not prove which phone lasts longer in everyday use. Confirm the local model’s charging specification and whether a compatible charger is included before purchase.

Water and dust protection
Samsung lists IP67 resistance for the A56. The available Edge 60 Fusion review details do not establish a comparable rating, so check Motorola’s official specification record for the exact regional model before treating the phones as equivalent on durability. Water-resistance ratings are not a reason to deliberately expose a phone to water.

How long software support is promised
Samsung says the A56 receives up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. “Up to” is Samsung’s stated limit, not a guarantee that every future update arrives on a fixed schedule. A comparable Edge 60 Fusion support commitment is not established here; consult Motorola’s current local policy rather than assuming it matches Samsung’s.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy A56 if Samsung’s stated software-support window is a priority, you want the listed flat display, or documented OIS on the main camera and IP67 rating matter to your decision.
- Consider the Edge 60 Fusion if you prefer the curved-screen design and the local version matches the review configuration’s higher resolution and 68W wired charging. Confirm its exact regional specifications first.
- Let price decide when the feature trade-offs are close. Compare current, same-market listings at matching storage and condition; the historical prices above cannot establish today’s difference.
There is no evidence here of a controlled performance, camera, or battery-life comparison, so processor names and capacity figures alone are not enough to declare a universal winner. Check network-band compatibility as well if you are considering an imported model.
