The vivo X200T has the stronger specification sheet for performance, camera flexibility and charging; the Galaxy A37 costs less in the listings reviewed and has Samsung’s stated commitment of up to six OS upgrades and six years of security and maintenance releases. Neither is an automatic winner: compare the same storage variant at current prices, then choose based on the features you will use.

These are specification differences, not evidence from controlled comparative testing. In particular, a telephoto camera does not by itself prove better photos, and battery capacity or charging wattage does not establish how long a phone lasts in everyday use.
What is the price difference in India?
Prices available when 91mobiles’ comparison was accessed in 2026 were ₹41,999 for the Galaxy A37 on Amazon and ₹59,999 for the vivo X200T on Flipkart—a ₹18,000 gap between those particular listings. They are different retailers and may not be matching storage variants or offers, so the difference is not a like-for-like price verdict. See 91mobiles’ comparison.

Before deciding, compare the exact RAM and storage configuration, seller, and final checkout price on the same day. Do not treat the ₹18,000 listing gap as a fixed difference between the models.
Which phone is faster?
The vivo X200T is the stronger choice on the published chipset comparison: it uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+, while the Galaxy A37 uses Samsung’s Exynos 1480. 91mobiles reports AnTuTu scores of 2,821,319 for the X200T and 1,053,896 for the A37. Those are 91mobiles’ reported comparison figures, accessed in 2026—not independent test results from this article. Scores can depend on test conditions and software, so use them as a performance indicator rather than a guarantee of how a particular app will feel.

If demanding games or apps and performance headroom matter most, the X200T’s chip and reported benchmark provide a specification-based reason to favor it. The figures alone do not establish real-world performance in every task.
Which phone has the better camera?
The X200T offers more focal-length variety on paper: its three 50MP rear cameras include a ZEISS telephoto camera as well as main and ultrawide cameras. The A37 has a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 5MP macro setup. The telephoto camera gives the vivo a hardware option for zoom photography that is not listed in the Samsung array.

That difference describes camera hardware, not comparative image quality. No controlled photo testing is available here to establish which phone produces better results in daylight, low light, portraits or video. If you mostly use the main camera, megapixel counts alone are not enough to pick a winner.
Battery, charging and water resistance
Charging
vivo specifies a 6,200mAh typical-capacity battery, 90W wired FlashCharge and up to 40W wireless charging for the X200T. The parameter page says it is supplied with vivo’s standard charger; an extra charger is optional. The Samsung information cited here does not establish comparable battery or charging figures, so there is no sound basis to declare a battery-life winner.

Water resistance
Samsung rates the A37 IP68 and describes its laboratory test as up to 1.5m of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. It cautions that resistance can diminish with wear and does not recommend beach or pool use. vivo specifies IP68 and IP69 for the X200T. These ratings are not a promise that either phone is damage-proof; avoid deliberate exposure to water, and follow the manufacturers’ care guidance.

How long will each phone receive software support?
Samsung states that the Galaxy A37 is eligible for up to six OS upgrades and up to six years of security and maintenance releases; timing can vary by model and market. For vivo, 91mobiles reports five years of OS support and six or seven years of security support respectively? No: its comparison lists five years of OS support and seven years of security support for the X200T. The latter durations are secondary-source claims; the manufacturer information cited here does not independently confirm vivo’s policy.

If a clearly stated manufacturer commitment is important to your purchase, Samsung’s published A37 policy is the firmer basis for comparison. Check the applicable market policy and timing rather than assuming an update schedule beyond the stated terms.
Which phone should you buy?
- Choose the vivo X200T if: you prioritize the more powerful listed chipset, a dedicated telephoto camera, or the stated wired and wireless charging speeds—and its current price fits your budget.
- Consider the Galaxy A37 if: a lower current listing matters more, or Samsung’s stated OS-upgrade and security-release commitment better matches how long you plan to keep your phone.
- Wait or compare again if: the apparent price gap comes from different storage variants, retailers or temporary offers. Match configurations and checkout prices before deciding.
The available specifications do not settle which phone takes better photos or lasts longer on a charge. Those questions require comparable real-world testing, so treat them as unresolved rather than inferring a winner from the spec sheet.
