The OPPO F33 Pro 5G stands out on listed battery capacity and charging power; the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G offers a more versatile rear-camera array and a stated long software-support commitment. Both have FHD+ AMOLED-family displays with refresh rates up to 120 Hz. A reliable, current price gap between them is not established, so the better choice depends on your priorities and the exact regional model and listing.
Galaxy A37 vs F33 Pro: key specifications

Which display is better?
Both manufacturers list an AMOLED-family panel and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, so both have the core specifications associated with smooth scrolling and high-contrast imagery. Samsung lists a 6.7-inch full-rectangle screen, while OPPO lists a 16.69 cm diagonal, approximately 6.57 inches. Their published resolutions are close but not identical: 1080 × 2340 for Samsung’s UK model and 2372 × 1080 for OPPO’s India model. These specifications alone do not establish which screen looks better in person.
OPPO also lists a typical high-brightness mode of 1,400 nits. That is a manufacturer specification for its India model, not an independently measured comparison against Samsung.

Battery and charging: OPPO has the larger published figures
OPPO specifies a 7,000 mAh typical battery and 80 W maximum supported SUPERVOOC charging for the F33 Pro 5G. Its listed rated capacity is 6,830 mAh. Samsung UK lists the Galaxy A37 5G at 5,000 mAh typical, with a charging input range reaching 45 W and video playback of up to 29 hours.
These are not like-for-like runtime or charging tests. Capacity does not by itself predict how long a phone lasts, and maximum charging support does not establish the time needed to recharge it. Actual results depend on usage, settings, temperature, the charger and cable, and—in OPPO’s case—the compatible charging setup. OPPO also lists compatibility with certain lower-wattage SUPERVOOC, PPS, and PD supplies.

- Please note, this device does not support E-SIM; This 4G model is compatible with all GSM networks worldwide outside of the U.S. In the US, ONLY compatible with T-Mobile and their MVNO's (Metro and Standup). It will NOT work with other CDMA carriers, and it is also not compatible with their MVNO (Visible, Xfinity Mobile, US Mobile, Cricket Wireless, etc).
- Compatibility with certain third-party devices and accessibility accessories, including some hearing aids, may vary depending on manufacturer support, Bluetooth protocols, software compatibility, and regional firmware limitations. For additional hearing aid compatibility information, please refer to Samsung’s official support documentation.

Camera setups: choose flexibility, not megapixel totals
Samsung India lists three rear cameras: a 50 MP wide camera, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 5 MP macro. The additional ultrawide lens gives the A37 a documented option for fitting more into a frame; the macro camera is intended for close-up subjects.

The supplied specifications do not establish comparative image quality, low-light performance, video quality, or whether one phone produces better photos. Megapixel counts are not a reliable substitute for camera testing.

Software, durability, and regional compatibility
Software support
Samsung India says the Galaxy A37 receives up to six OS upgrades and up to six years of security and maintenance releases. OPPO’s India page identifies ColorOS 16.0 but does not state an equivalent support period there. If you plan to keep a phone for several years, verify the support policy that applies to the exact model and market before buying.
Water and dust protection
Samsung India lists IP68 protection and Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front and rear. Samsung describes its IP test as freshwater submersion up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes, and warns that resistance may diminish over time; it advises against beach or pool use. This rating should not be treated as a promise that every water-related accident is covered.

SIM and network bands
The documented UK Galaxy A37 supports dual SIM using nano-SIM and embedded-SIM arrangements. The OPPO F33 Pro India page lists dual nano-SIM and no eSIM. OPPO’s listed 5G bands are for its India-market documentation; they do not establish compatibility with carriers in other countries. Check the exact model number, local bands, SIM configuration, and carrier requirements before ordering, particularly if you need eSIM.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsPrice difference: no dependable same-market figure
A current, authoritative price pair for comparable configurations is not established. Samsung India’s product page showed “Not for sale,” and the available comparison result contained conflicting context, so quoting a numerical difference would be unreliable.

For a useful comparison, check live offers in the same country at the same time. Match storage capacity where possible, and compare seller, warranty region, and whether the device is an officially supported local variant. The OPPO India page lists 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB configurations; confirm the exact Samsung configuration and local availability on its listing rather than assuming the UK and India pages describe the same offer.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the OPPO F33 Pro 5G if its India-market variant is available to you and a larger listed battery, higher maximum charging power, expandable storage, or a 50 MP autofocus front camera fits your needs.
- Consider the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G if you value a listed ultrawide rear camera, the documented Samsung India software-support commitment, or the UK variant’s eSIM capability. Check that the warranty and SIM configuration match your market.
- Compare both listings before deciding if price is the deciding factor. Verify the same storage tier, seller, warranty coverage, and regional model; the specification pages do not establish a reliable current price gap.
Neither specification sheet proves superior real-world speed, battery life, charging time, or camera results. Those questions require comparable independent tests of the exact regional models.
