The Samsung Galaxy A37 5G is the stronger documented choice for a high-refresh AMOLED display, three rear cameras and a clearly stated long-term software-support commitment. The OnePlus N6 stands out for its larger claimed battery, 45 W charging, expandable storage and India-market segment positioning. There is no reliable like-for-like price difference to quote: Samsung’s figure is a US launch price, while OnePlus gives an India price segment rather than an exact retail price.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Galaxy A37 for its display, camera options and stated support period
Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with refresh rates up to 120 Hz, plus three rear cameras: 50 MP, 8 MP and 5 MP. Those specifications make the A37 the more compelling documented option if you value an AMOLED panel or want more than one rear-camera module. Samsung also promises up to six generations of Android and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates. Its India product page gives March 31, 2032 as the security update period end date. Samsung’s India Galaxy A37 specifications provide the display, camera and support details.

Choose the OnePlus N6 if battery capacity and charging matter most
OnePlus lists an 8,000 mAh typical battery capacity (7,780 mAh rated) and 45 W SuperVOOC charging for the N6 in India. These are manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee of a particular screen-on time or charging duration. OnePlus says actual battery experience may vary. The phone also appears attractive if expandable storage is a priority, though the exact expansion limits should be checked in the official specification for the configuration sold in your region.

Screen and camera differences
Samsung’s India specification is explicit: the A37 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The N6 display is described as LCD, and its rear camera as a single 50 MP unit, in a third-party PhoneArena comparison. These are useful directional differences, but Samsung’s model-specific specifications are more definitive for the A37, and the N6 details should be checked against OnePlus’s regional product page before purchase. A megapixel count alone does not establish image quality, and a multi-camera setup does not guarantee that every lens will be useful for every buyer.
Battery claims and charging
OnePlus quotes the N6 battery as 8,000 mAh typical and 7,780 mAh rated, with 45 W SuperVOOC charging. Its launch material attributes the battery data to OnePlus Test Lab and warns that real-world experience may vary. OnePlus also describes a “60-Month Smooth Experience” based on fluency testing in its lab through software, hardware and other optimizations, while explicitly stating that this does not guarantee absolutely no lag. Treat both as manufacturer claims rather than independent endurance or longevity results.

Samsung’s stated commitment is up to six generations of Android and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates. The India product page lists March 31, 2032 as the end date for the security update period. “Up to” matters: the promise describes the maximum stated support, not a claim that every device receives all updates on a fixed schedule. Samsung’s Galaxy A-series announcement provides the support commitment.

Do not treat the N6’s lab fluency statement as a drop, water-resistance or repairability rating; it addresses perceived smoothness, not physical durability.
Price and availability: what the figures do and do not tell you
Samsung announced the Galaxy A37 5G for US availability beginning April 9, 2026, with a starting price of $449.99. The announcement says Awesome White would be available at Amazon.com. That launch announcement does not establish current stock, the price now, the seller, or availability of every color and configuration. Samsung’s US launch announcement is the source for the launch price and timing.

OnePlus describes the N6 as part of the ₹15,000–₹20,000 smartphone segment in India, with the claim factual as of June 30, 2026. It does not state an exact current retail price in the cited passage. That segment positioning is neither a confirmed street price nor comparable to Samsung’s US launch figure. Check current listings in your own country for the same storage configuration, taxes and seller terms before deciding on value. OnePlus India’s N6 launch page contains the battery and segment-positioning claims.

On the documented specifications, the Galaxy A37 is the more straightforward pick for readers prioritizing a Super AMOLED screen, multiple rear-camera modules and a long, clearly stated software-support commitment. The OnePlus N6 is the more appealing direction for buyers who put greater weight on its stated battery capacity, 45 W charging or expandable storage. Since the supplied price references do not provide an exact, same-country comparison, verify local prices and the precise N6 configuration rather than choosing based on the headline figures alone.
