Battery and charging: OnePlus has the larger stated capacity
OnePlus lists an 8,000mAh typical battery for the N6, with a rated capacity of 7,780mAh, and 45W SuperVOOC charging. Samsung lists a 5,000mAh typical battery for the A36, with a rated minimum capacity of 4,905mAh. OnePlus lists a 50MP main camera, while 91mobiles reports an 8MP front camera for the N6. The A36 therefore has more documented rear-camera options and a higher stated front-camera resolution. Samsung lists the A36 as IP67, while OnePlus lists the N6 as IP65 and says it has MIL-STD-810H certification. These are distinct protection claims, not a promise that either phone is waterproof or indestructible. Use the manufacturers’ qualifications and care guidance rather than treating the labels as equivalent guarantees.
Software and updates: versions are listed, support periods are not verified here
Samsung’s specification page lists Android 15 with One UI 7; OnePlus lists OxygenOS 16 for the N6. A third-party comparison reports a longer update period for Samsung, but the cited manufacturer material here does not establish a directly comparable, current regional support policy for both exact variants. Check each maker’s current policy for your market before making update longevity a deciding factor.
