The A35 is the pick if screen size is your priority: Samsung lists a 16.83 cm full-rectangle measurement, roughly 6.6 inches. The X300 FE’s 6.31-inch display makes for a smaller viewing area and a more compact phone. Both offer AMOLED panels and a 120Hz refresh rate. vivo lists the higher resolution—2640×1216 versus Samsung’s 1080×2340—but the figures alone do not establish which display looks better in use.

The X300 FE is both smaller in screen size and lighter according to the listed specifications: vivo gives its dimensions as 150.83×71.76×7.99mm and its weight as 191g. Samsung lists the A35 at 209g. Which phone has the better camera?
On hardware variety and resolution, the X300 FE has the stronger-looking camera specification: it adds a dedicated 50MP OIS 3× optical telephoto camera to its 50MP OIS main and 8MP ultrawide cameras, and its front camera is 50MP with autofocus. The A35 has a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro camera and a 13MP fixed-focus front camera.
That does not prove the X300 FE takes better photos or video. Megapixel counts, stabilization labels and lens types are not substitutes for comparative image testing. The A35’s macro camera is a distinct option in its rear array; the X300 FE instead lists a telephoto camera. Which phone is faster?
The X300 FE has the more advanced listed components: a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Samsung’s A35 specification lists an octa-core processor with 2.4GHz and 2GHz clock speeds. This points to a substantial difference in hardware tier on paper, but it does not establish a specific speed advantage in everyday use, gaming, heat management or sustained performance. Those require comparable testing.
How do battery capacity and charging compare?
vivo lists the X300 FE at 6500mAh typical capacity and 6350mAh rated capacity, with 90W wired charging; its product overview also advertises 40W wireless charging. Samsung lists a 5000mAh battery and 25W wired charging for the A35. Capacity and charging wattage do not establish real-world battery life or charging time, which depend on conditions and use.

What is the price difference in India?
A reliable current price gap is not established. At the time the India listings were checked on October 7, 2026, vivo’s store showed ₹84,999 for the X300 FE 8GB+256GB and ₹89,999 for 12GB+256GB. Samsung’s India buying tool marked the selected A35 configuration unavailable and did not provide a comparable current price. The vivo amounts are India-store observations, not global prices, and store inventory and prices can change.
To make a fair comparison, check both new devices in the same country and sales channel, and match storage capacity before comparing prices. Confirm the exact variant and seller at purchase; a price for one configuration is not a like-for-like comparison with another.
