The vivo V29e has the larger curved display, a higher-resolution autofocus selfie camera and a higher listed charging wattage; the Samsung Galaxy A35 has a more clearly stated software-support commitment and a rear camera setup that includes an ultra-wide and macro camera. Both list a typical 5,000mAh battery. There is no verified, same-date Samsung price here to calculate a fair price gap, so compare live prices for the same market and storage tier before choosing.

The V29e’s display is 0.18 inches larger diagonally and curved, while the A35 has a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED panel. Both are FHD+ class displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz according to their India-market product material. A diagonal measurement does not tell you the exact usable screen area, and the specifications alone do not establish which screen looks better in person.

Choose the V29e if a larger curved panel is a priority. The A35 is the more straightforward option if you prefer a smaller, flat-front phone; check the specific device in person if curvature or handling matters to you.
Which phone has the more useful camera setup?
Rear cameras
The A35 lists a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro camera. The V29e lists a 64MP OIS main camera and an 8MP wide-angle camera. In practical terms, the A35 specifies a separate macro camera, while the V29e’s listed rear setup centers on its main and wide-angle cameras.

These figures describe hardware, not comparative image quality. Megapixel counts and stabilization specifications do not show how the phones perform in different lighting, focus reliably, or process images. No side-by-side camera testing is established here.

The V29e lists a 50MP autofocus front camera; the A35 lists a 13MP front camera. That makes the V29e the higher-resolution selfie-camera option on paper, but the specifications do not prove that it produces better-looking selfies.

Battery and charging: what can the specifications tell you?
Both manufacturers list a typical 5,000mAh battery capacity. That is a nominal capacity comparison, not a battery-life result: screen settings, network conditions, apps and usage affect runtime.
vivo lists 44W FlashCharge for the V29e, compared with Samsung’s stated 25W Super Fast Charging for the A35. The wattage figures alone do not establish how long either phone takes to charge in real use. Samsung’s India product page says the wall charger is sold separately, so account for an additional charger purchase if you do not already have a compatible one.

Which phone has the clearer software-support commitment?
Samsung announced that the A35 would receive up to four generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and five years of security updates. The cited vivo V29e specification page identifies Funtouch OS 13 Global but does not state a matching duration for operating-system or security updates. That makes the A35’s published support commitment clearer in the manufacturer information compared here; it does not establish the V29e’s actual update history or future update status.

What is the price difference?
A reliable price difference cannot be calculated from the available figures. vivo Store India lists an MRP of ₹31,999 for the V29e 8GB/128GB variant, and vivo Store India lists ₹33,999 for 8GB/256GB. These are listed MRPs, not promises of current stock or checkout pricing. A directly comparable current Samsung selling price was not established.

For a useful comparison, check both phones on the same day in the country where you plan to buy, and match RAM and storage as closely as possible. Keep MRP separate from a retailer’s selling price, and confirm that the chosen variant is actually available. Regional configuration differences can make an apparently similar listing a poor comparison.
What comes in the box?
For India, vivo lists an adapter, cable, eject tool, case and pre-applied protective film among the V29e box contents. Samsung says accessories are sold separately on its A35 product page. Confirm the exact package for the market and retailer you are buying from, since regional box contents can vary. The included vivo case and film may reduce the need for separate basic accessories, but they do not determine which phone is the better value overall.
Which phone should you choose?
Choose the vivo V29e if
- You specifically want the larger, curved 6.78-inch display.
- A 50MP autofocus selfie camera is a priority.
- You value vivo’s listed 44W charging specification.
- The exact RAM/storage version you want is available at a competitive current price in your market.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy A35 if
- You value Samsung’s announced update commitment of up to four Android OS and One UI upgrades and five years of security updates.
- You want a rear camera specification that includes both an ultra-wide and a separate macro camera.
- You prefer Samsung’s ecosystem or have a reason to stay with its devices and services.
- You can obtain the storage variant you need at a price that makes sense against the V29e locally.
Before paying, verify the precise model and storage, live price and stock, regional network-band compatibility, included accessories and the latest support information. Neither manufacturer specification sheet establishes comparative performance, camera quality or battery runtime.
