The realme P4 5G has the larger, faster-refreshing display, higher listed battery capacity and faster charging. The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G stands out for its documented IP67 rating, microSD support and stated software-update commitment. There is no reliable like-for-like price snapshot here, so compare the same RAM and storage configuration at checkout before deciding which costs less.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not results from a head-to-head test. A larger capacity or higher megapixel count does not, by itself, prove longer real-world battery life or better photos.
Which phone has the better display?
The realme P4 has the bigger listed screen at 6.77 inches and supports refresh rates up to 144Hz. The A35 lists a 6.6-inch-class display with refresh rates up to 120Hz. That gives the P4 the specification advantage if screen size and a higher maximum refresh rate matter to you.

Battery and charging: where the P4 leads on paper
The P4 lists a typical 7000mAh battery and 80W charging, compared with the A35’s typical 5000mAh battery and 25W charging. Realme lists an adapter in the P4 package contents. Samsung’s India product page says the A35’s 25W wall charger is sold separately.
Those capacity and wattage figures do not establish actual endurance or charging time. Usage, settings and charging conditions affect results, and no independent head-to-head battery test is established here.

Cameras: compare the hardware, not just megapixels
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP ultra-wide or wide-angle camera. The A35 also lists a 5MP macro camera; the P4 lists a 16MP front camera, while 91mobiles reports 13MP for the A35’s front camera.

These numbers describe camera configurations, not image quality. They are not enough to declare a winner for detail, low-light photos, portraits or video without comparable camera testing.

Durability, expandable storage and software support
Water resistance
Samsung rates the Galaxy A35 IP67. Samsung says its test covers immersion in up to 1 metre of fresh water for up to 30 minutes; it also cautions that resistance can diminish with normal wear and advises against beach or pool use. The reviewed realme P4 specifications do not establish a comparable IP rating, which is not proof that the phone has no protection.
microSD expansion
The A35 supports microSD cards up to 1TB, a useful distinction if you keep a large local collection of photos, video or other files. Removable-storage support is not established on the reviewed P4 specification page.

Updates
Samsung states that the A35 is eligible for up to four generations of OS upgrades and up to five years of security updates. The commitment is subject to Samsung’s policy, availability and timing qualifications. Realme lists Android 15-based realme UI 6.0 for the P4, but the reviewed specification page does not give a comparable support duration.

- realme P4 store listing: The realme India Store showed ₹30,999 for an 8GB/128GB P4 listing, against a displayed MRP of ₹45,999, when accessed on 7 October 2026. The selling price and availability can change. Check the realme India product page.
Because the A35’s reported starting price and the P4 store listing are not a same-date, same-retailer comparison of equivalent variants, subtracting them would not produce a dependable price difference. Check current stock, RAM and storage, seller, offers and final checkout price for both phones.
Which should you buy: realme P4 or Samsung A35?
Choose the realme P4 if
- You prefer a larger display and a higher listed maximum refresh rate.
- You value a larger listed battery and higher charging wattage.
- You have checked the exact P4 model and its current price and availability.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy A35 if
- You want a documented IP67 rating with Samsung’s stated test conditions in mind.
- You need microSD expansion up to 1TB.
- You place value on Samsung’s published OS-upgrade and security-update commitment.
Neither choice is a universal winner on these specifications. Decide which features matter most, then compare equivalent memory and storage configurations at current checkout prices.
