There is no reliable, current price gap to quote between the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G and Motorola Edge 60 Fusion without knowing your country and comparing the same storage size. On the documented specifications, the A35 is the clearer fit if you value Samsung’s listed Super AMOLED screen and stated software-update policy; the Edge 60 Fusion stands out for its quad-curved display design and faster, 68 W charging. Regional versions differ, so confirm the exact model sold where you live.

Which phone has the better display?

Galaxy A35: a specified Super AMOLED panel

Samsung’s UK listing gives the A35 a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Those are concrete specifications for that listed variant; they do not establish how it compares in brightness, color accuracy, outdoor readability, or overall image quality against the Motorola.

Edge 60 Fusion: a curved-screen design

Motorola emphasizes the Edge 60 Fusion’s quad-curved display. That describes a design priority, but the launch material cited here does not provide a directly comparable full set of regional display specifications. Choose based on whether you prefer Samsung’s documented panel type and size or Motorola’s curved-screen approach, rather than assuming one looks better.

Camera specifications: hardware is not a photo test

The A35’s listed rear camera combination is 50 MP + 8 MP + 5 MP, with optical image stabilization (OIS) listed by Samsung. Motorola highlights a 50 MP main camera for the Edge 60 Fusion. Megapixel counts and the number of camera modules do not show which phone takes better photos: no matched camera test is available here, and image results also depend on processing and shooting conditions.

Battery capacity and charging speed

Samsung lists a 5,000 mAh typical battery for the A35, while Motorola advertises 68 W TurboPower charging for the Edge 60 Fusion. Capacity and charging rate measure different things: the listed figures do not establish which phone lasts longer between charges, or how long either takes to charge under comparable conditions. A standardized battery-life or charging comparison is not available here.

Water and dust resistance: check the regional rating

The ratings in the available documentation are tied to particular variants: Samsung India lists IP67 for its A35, while Motorola’s documentation describes IP68/IP69 testing for an Edge 60 Fusion model and another regional specification page lists IP68. Do not assume every market’s handset has the same rating.

Motorola says its phone was tested under controlled laboratory conditions to IEC 60529. Its documented conditions include submersion in still, fresh water up to 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes and protection against powerful, high-temperature water jets for up to 30 seconds. Exposure beyond those ratings is outside warranty coverage. A rating is not a guarantee against damage; check the documentation for the precise SKU and avoid treating either phone as damage-proof.

Software support: Samsung states a specific policy

Samsung’s UK business product page says the A35 can receive up to four generations of OS upgrades and up to five years of security updates. The policy is qualified by Samsung: it may change, and timing or available features can vary. A comparable official commitment for the Edge 60 Fusion’s applicable regional variant was not established, so the available information does not support a definitive head-to-head support verdict. Check Motorola’s current local policy before buying if update longevity is a deciding factor.

Which phone should you choose?

Choose the Galaxy A35 5G if

  • You want the documented 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display and up-to-120 Hz refresh rate in Samsung’s UK listing.
  • Samsung’s stated update policy is important to you, and it applies to the variant you are buying.
  • You prefer to decide from a clearly listed three-camera setup and OIS specification, while recognizing that these details do not establish photo quality.

Consider the Edge 60 Fusion if

  • You prefer a quad-curved display design.
  • Motorola’s advertised 68 W charging is a priority, while understanding that the figure alone does not establish real-world charging time.
  • The exact model available locally has the durability rating you need, as confirmed in that model’s documentation.

Before you pay

  1. Confirm the country, model/SKU, and storage capacity on the listing or box.
  2. Check the current local price for both phones at the same storage capacity.
  3. Verify the regional water-resistance documentation and software-support policy for the exact variant.
  4. Choose based on the feature you will use most; the specifications available here do not establish a universal winner for camera quality, battery endurance, or overall value.
