The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G is the stronger fit if you want a larger display, a higher stated battery capacity and Samsung’s longer announced software-support window. The Galaxy A35 5G is the more defensible choice if documented IP67 protection or higher published ultrawide and selfie-camera resolutions matter more. In Smartprix’s October 6, 2026 listing snapshot, the F70 Pro was also ₹5,809 cheaper—but that comparison matched a 6GB/128GB F70 Pro with an 8GB/128GB A35, so it is not a like-for-like price verdict.
Price difference: the F70 Pro was cheaper in the dated listing snapshot
Smartprix listed the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G 6GB/128GB at ₹26,190 and the Galaxy A35 5G 8GB/128GB at ₹31,999 on October 6, 2026, a displayed gap of ₹5,809. These are retailer listing prices, not Samsung-set prices, and the RAM configurations differ. Gadgets 360’s October 7, 2026 price table also showed ₹26,190 for the F70 Pro 6GB/128GB, with higher prices for its 8GB variants and 256GB storage.
Check the exact RAM and storage tier, colour, seller, stock and available offers before comparing the final checkout totals. The A35’s original India launch prices—₹27,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹30,999 for 8GB/256GB—are historical, not current street prices.

Specifications and options can vary by model and market. Confirm the exact device listing, especially for storage expansion and the F70 Pro’s chipset: Samsung’s product page gives CPU speeds rather than a chip name, while the Snapdragon identification comes from Gadgets 360.

Display: nearly the same resolution and refresh rate
Both phones list FHD+ 1080 × 2340 Super AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung’s stated full-rectangle diagonal is 16.91 cm for the F70 Pro and 16.83 cm for the A35, making the F70 Pro slightly larger on paper. The specifications establish a size difference, not a difference in measured brightness, outdoor readability or display quality.
Performance: the available chip information is not a speed test
Samsung names the A35’s processor as Exynos 1380. For the F70 Pro, Samsung lists CPU speeds of 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz but does not name the processor on the product page; Gadgets 360 reports Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. No comparable benchmark results are available here, so these specifications do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming or sustained workloads.

Cameras: compare the lens roles, not just megapixels
Both phones have a 50MP main rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The A35’s published secondary-camera resolutions are 8MP ultrawide and 5MP macro; the F70 Pro lists 5MP and 2MP secondary cameras. The A35 therefore has the higher stated ultrawide resolution and an explicitly identified macro camera. Resolution alone does not establish image quality, and the specifications do not show how the secondary cameras perform in different lighting or scenes.
For selfies, Samsung lists a 13MP front camera on the A35 and a 12MP HDR-capable camera on the F70 Pro. The A35 has the higher published resolution; that alone does not prove it produces better-looking selfies.

Battery and charging: more capacity is not a runtime result
Samsung lists a 6000mAh typical battery for the F70 Pro, compared with 5000mAh typical for the A35. For the F70 Pro’s 6GB product variant, Samsung also gives a rated minimum of 5,830mAh. Those figures make the F70 Pro the higher-capacity option on paper, but there is no comparable endurance test here to quantify how much longer either phone lasts in use.
Samsung’s A35 launch announcement specifies 25W charging. Gadgets 360 lists 45W fast charging for the F70 Pro; the Samsung F70 Pro page consulted did not establish a charger-in-box claim. Charging wattage is a specification, not a measured full-charge time.

Durability: the A35 has a documented IP67 rating
Samsung Newsroom India says the A35 is rated IP67 and can withstand up to 30 minutes in 1 metre of fresh water. The Samsung F70 Pro product page consulted does not establish a directly comparable IP rating. That means the A35 has a documented rating in the available manufacturer material; it does not establish that the F70 Pro has no protection. If this is a deciding factor, verify the exact model’s official rating before buying.

Software support and long-term ownership
Samsung says the F70 Pro will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, measured from its first global launch date. Samsung’s 2024 A35 announcement promised up to four Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates. The published policy is longer for the F70 Pro; check Samsung’s current wording and the relevant support start date when assessing how much support remains for a particular unit.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G if
- You prioritize the larger stated display and higher battery capacity.
- You value Samsung’s longer announced OS and security support policy.
- You find it cheaper at checkout for the RAM and storage tier you actually want.
Choose the Galaxy A35 5G if
- A manufacturer-documented IP67 rating is important to you.
- You prefer its higher published ultrawide and selfie-camera resolutions.
- Its current price is lower than the F70 Pro for a configuration that meets your needs.
Neither specification sheet settles overall performance, camera quality or real-world battery life. Make the final comparison using current, matched configurations and the features that matter most to you.
