How do the screens and handling compare?
Both phones have FHD+ Super AMOLED displays with a maximum 120Hz refresh rate, so the headline display format is similar. The F36 is listed in the larger 6.7-inch class, compared with the A35’s 6.6-inch class. The A35 is shorter, while the F36 is 12g lighter and slightly thinner. Those dimensions may make the F36 easier to carry, while the A35’s shorter body may suit someone who prefers a less tall phone.
Which gives you more memory and storage?
In these specific variants, the A35 offers 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, against the F36’s 6GB RAM and 128GB. That gives the A35 more room for apps, offline media, and files before storage management becomes necessary. The F36 supports a larger stated microSD card capacity—up to 2TB versus up to 1TB for the A35—but both use a hybrid SIM/microSD slot. Using that slot for a memory card means giving up the second SIM position.

Are the cameras different?
Both models list a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultrawide, a 13MP front camera, and 4K recording at 30fps. Their third rear cameras differ: the A35 has a 5MP macro camera, while the F36 lists a 2MP third camera. The resolution figures alone do not establish which phone takes better photos; they do not account for image processing, lens performance, or shooting conditions.
What about battery life and charging?
Samsung lists a 5,000mAh typical battery for each phone. Capacity alone does not determine how long a charge lasts, so it is not enough to declare a battery-life winner. Samsung says the 25W wall charger is sold separately for both models; check the local box contents and compatible charger listing before buying an adapter.

How do software support and durability compare?
A35 update commitment
Samsung’s 2024 launch announcement says the Galaxy A35 receives up to four generations of Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates. This is the stated support commitment for the A35; the announcement does not establish equivalent support for the F36. Samsung Newsroom India’s A35 launch announcement also gives launch pricing, not today’s retail price.
Water resistance
The F36 specifications extract cited here does not establish an IP rating, so it cannot support a water-resistance comparison. Check the full, current Samsung documentation for the exact phone variant in your market before treating either device as protected against water or dust.

What is the price difference in India?
A verified current price difference cannot be stated from the available snapshots: third-party comparison pages show inconsistent figures and may reflect different variants or offers. The launch prices Samsung announced in March 2024 for the A35 were ₹27,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹30,999 for 8GB/256GB, with specified launch cashback terms. Those are historical launch prices, not current prices for the A35 or F36.
For a fair comparison, check live India listings for the same RAM and storage, then compare the final payable price after accounting for seller, color availability, bank discounts, and exchange conditions. A lower displayed price may depend on an offer you cannot use, and these two researched configurations are not storage-matched.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the A35 8GB/256GB if you want the larger internal-storage configuration, more RAM than the compared F36 variant, a dedicated macro camera, or Samsung’s stated A35 update commitment.
- Choose the F36 6GB/128GB if its larger listed screen, lower listed weight, or higher stated microSD capacity matters more to you, and its live price is better for the configuration you need.
