The vivo T5 5G has the larger display, higher listed battery capacity, faster rated charging and higher-resolution front camera. The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G specifies a 120 Hz display and a software-support commitment of up to six OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Neither manufacturer’s specifications establish a real-world performance, camera-quality or battery-life winner.
The available prices are from different countries: Samsung lists a U.S. starting price of $349.99, while vivo India lists ₹34,999 for the T5 5G with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. They cannot be used to calculate a direct price difference.

| Durability rating | IP64 dust and water resistance | vivo advertises IP68/IP69 and military-grade durability |
These are published specifications and manufacturer claims, not a controlled comparison. For example, battery capacity does not predict exact runtime, and camera megapixels alone do not establish image quality. Samsung’s IP64 rating and vivo’s IP68/IP69 claims are different ratings; neither means a phone is indestructible. Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions rather than treating a rating as permission for exposure beyond its stated conditions.

The vivo T5 5G has the larger listed panel at 6.83 inches, compared with the Galaxy A27 5G’s 6.7-inch display. Both are described as AMOLED-family displays. Samsung explicitly lists up to 120 Hz; the cited vivo specifications give its resolution but do not state a refresh rate, so there is no documented refresh-rate comparison here.

Samsung’s stated 6.5-inch measurement accounts for rounded corners; its listed display size is 6.7 inches. If screen size is your priority, vivo has the larger listed display. If a stated refresh-rate figure matters to your decision, Samsung is the one with a published figure in these sources.
Performance: what the processor specifications do and do not show
Samsung lists the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, while vivo lists the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo. The manufacturer specifications do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming or sustained workloads, and the cited sources provide no independent head-to-head benchmark.

vivo reports up to 233% faster on-device AI computing in an internal test comparing a 3-billion-parameter language model running at approximately 10 tokens per second with the previous-generation Dimensity 7400. vivo says those results came from internal test conditions as of July 30, 2026, and actual performance may vary by software, workload and configuration. This is a narrowly defined vendor claim, not a general comparison with Samsung’s processor.

Cameras: compare the listed hardware, not assumed image quality
Both phones list a 50MP optically stabilized main camera. The T5 5G pairs it with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front camera; Samsung lists a 5MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro and 12MP front camera. vivo also specifies 4K recording at 30 fps from both the front and rear cameras. The listed megapixels and video modes do not prove which phone takes better photos or video; the cited specifications do not include independent image-quality testing.

Battery capacity and charging ratings
The T5 5G lists a 7,050 mAh typical battery and 44 W FlashCharge. The Galaxy A27 5G lists 5,000 mAh typical capacity, a 4,860 mAh rated minimum, and 25 W charging. These capacity and charging figures are not independently measured endurance or charging-time results, so they do not establish how long either phone lasts in a particular person’s use or how quickly it charges from empty.
vivo’s product page describes its battery this way: “A 7050 mAh battery powers a full day, and fast charging tops you up quickly and safely.” That is vivo’s promotional claim, not an independent battery test.

Samsung states that the Galaxy A27 5G ships with Android 16 and One UI 8.5, with up to six OS upgrades and up to six years of security updates. The vivo India store lists OriginOS 6.0, but the cited vivo sources do not establish a support period directly comparable to Samsung’s commitment.
For durability, Samsung specifies IP64 dust and water resistance. vivo advertises IP68/IP69 and military-grade durability for the T5 5G. These are manufacturer-published claims with different ratings; they should not be treated as interchangeable or as a guarantee against damage.

Price difference: the published figures are from different markets
| Phone and market | Published price | Configuration and context |
|---|---|---|
| Samsung Galaxy A27 5G, United States | $349.99 starting price | Samsung U.S. newsroom announcement; U.S. availability stated from July 14, 2026. The cited starting price is not a like-for-like comparison with the India listing. Samsung U.S. announcement |
| vivo T5 5G, India | ₹34,999 displayed price; ₹49,999 listed MRP | vivo India Store listing for the selected 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant; displayed price and availability can change. vivo India Store |
Because one figure is a U.S. starting price and the other is an India store price for a specific configuration, converting currencies or subtracting the figures would not produce a meaningful price difference. To compare cost, check current listings for both phones in the same country and match RAM and storage where possible. Samsung’s configurations and availability vary by market; its cited U.S. page lists 6GB/128GB.
Quick Recap
Which should you choose?
- Consider the vivo T5 5G if you want the larger listed screen, higher listed battery capacity, 44 W charging rating, a 32MP front camera, or the India-market configurations shown by vivo. These specifications alone do not guarantee longer runtime or better photos.
- Consider the Galaxy A27 5G if Samsung’s stated up-to-120-Hz display specification or its published OS-upgrade and security-update commitment matters most to you.
- Wait for a same-market price check if price is the deciding factor. The available U.S. and India prices do not answer which phone costs less where you live.
- Do not choose on an assumed speed or camera winner based only on these specification sheets; the cited official information does not provide independent comparative results.
