The vivo V70 FE has stronger headline specifications for its display, battery and charging, and main-camera resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G is listed with a smaller 90 Hz display and a 50 MP stabilized main camera; a cited Galaxy A17 4G listing also confirms microSD support. That does not prove which phone takes better photos, lasts longer in everyday use, or performs faster. Prices also cannot be compared fairly without matching the country, network version and storage tier.

Where the V70 FE leads on paper
Display
The V70 FE listing specifies a larger 6.83-inch panel with higher resolution and a refresh rate up to 120 Hz. Samsung’s cited A17 5G listing specifies a 6.7-inch FHD+ panel with refresh up to 90 Hz. Those figures describe the published specifications, not a guarantee of how smooth or bright either screen appears in every setting.

Battery and charging
vivo lists a 7,000 mAh typical battery and 90 W charging for the V70 FE. Samsung lists a 5,000 mAh typical battery for the cited A17 5G page, but the available specification does not establish its charging speed. Battery capacity and charging power alone do not establish real-world battery life; usage, network conditions and software also matter.
Cameras
The V70 FE has a 200 MP OIS main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera with a listed 120° field of view. The A17 has a 50 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP rear-camera setup, with OIS listed. The megapixel count is not a direct measure of image quality, so these specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos. The front-camera listings are 32 MP for vivo and 13 MP for Samsung.

Storage flexibility and durability
The cited UK Galaxy A17 4G page confirms microSD expansion up to 2 TB; do not assume that applies to every A17 4G or 5G version sold elsewhere. vivo’s global V70 FE page says ROM expansion is unsupported and lists IP68 and IP69 ratings. The cited Samsung evidence does not establish a water-resistance rating for the A17, so a direct rating comparison is not available here.

A universal price winner or meaningful price difference cannot be calculated from them. For a useful comparison, check current listings in your country for the same date, storage capacity, network version and retail inclusions.

Which phone makes more sense for you?
- Choose based on the V70 FE’s listed display and charging specifications if a larger, higher-resolution, 120 Hz display and 90 W charging are priorities. Treat those as specification advantages, not proof of better everyday experience.
- Look closely at the exact Galaxy A17 model if you want microSD expansion: the cited support is for the UK 4G version, not every regional variant.
- Compare local prices before deciding on value. The available US Samsung and Spain vivo prices do not establish which costs less in your market.
- Do not decide on camera quality from megapixels alone. The cited specifications show different camera configurations, but no controlled comparative camera results establish a winner.
