To check blocked numbers on a Samsung Galaxy, open Phone → More options (the three-dot menu) → Settings → Block numbers. The entries on that screen are the numbers managed by the Phone app’s block list. To let a listed number call you again, tap the minus icon beside it.
Open the blocked-numbers list
- Open the Phone app.
- Tap More options, usually shown as three vertical dots in the upper-right corner.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Block numbers to review the list.
This is a built-in Phone app setting; you do not need to install another app. Samsung’s current US Phone app guide demonstrates the route on a Galaxy S25. Menu names and availability can differ by model, software version, and wireless provider. See Samsung’s guide to using the Phone app and its instructions for blocking and unblocking numbers.
Unblock a number from the list
On the Block numbers screen, tap the minus icon beside the number you want to remove. Samsung’s support documentation describes this as removing the number from the block list. Afterward, that number is no longer blocked by this list; whether calls or messages come through can still depend on other settings or carrier features.
Other ways to unblock someone
If you already have the caller’s contact or recent call open, you can use a route that starts there instead of searching the full list.

Samsung documents these alternatives in its US blocking guide and India call-blocking guide.
If the number is not listed
The manual Block numbers list is different from controls that screen unknown callers or identify and filter suspected spam. If calls from hidden, unspecified, or suspected spam numbers are being stopped, inspect the separate call settings for unknown-number blocking and caller ID or spam protection. Samsung describes spam-filter options that can block all identified spam and scam calls or only high-risk scam calls; which options appear depends on the device, software, and carrier. See Samsung Canada’s call-settings guide.

- Please note, this device does not support E-SIM; This 4G model is compatible with all GSM networks worldwide outside of the U.S. In the US, ONLY compatible with T-Mobile and their MVNO's (Metro and Standup). It will NOT work with other CDMA carriers, and it is also not compatible with their MVNO (Visible, Xfinity Mobile, US Mobile, Cricket Wireless, etc).
- Compatibility with certain third-party devices and accessibility accessories, including some hearing aids, may vary depending on manufacturer support, Bluetooth protocols, software compatibility, and regional firmware limitations. For additional hearing aid compatibility information, please refer to Samsung’s official support documentation.
- Camera: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/2.76", 0.64µm, AF | 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/2.76", 0.64µm, AF | 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro). Battery: 5000 mAh, non-removable | A power adapter is NOT included.
If you cannot find Block numbers, make sure you opened settings from the Phone app rather than the general Settings app. Look for a similarly named option such as Blocked numbers; Samsung cautions that screens and labels vary across Galaxy models, software versions, and providers.
If a blocked caller can still leave voicemail
Blocking a caller does not necessarily prevent that person from leaving voicemail. Samsung’s US support guidance says you may need to contact your carrier to stop voicemails from specific callers. Blocking can affect calls and text messages, but behavior and availability vary by device and carrier.
