The Salvaged Trebuchaxe is in the final room of Ravaged Hideout in Fainweald, south of Gloomshade Grove Beacon. The route leads toward the Bloodcursed Lithopod; guides disagree on whether defeating it is mandatory, so clear it if it blocks your way into the hideout.
Where to find the Salvaged Trebuchaxe
Look for Ravaged Hideout in Fainweald, south of Gloomshade Grove Beacon and near the base of the hills outside Citadel of Penance. The weapon is in the hideout’s final room, propped against a corpse.
How to reach the pickup
- Travel to Gloomshade Grove Beacon in Fainweald.
- Head south toward the swamp and the Bloodcursed Lithopod encounter.
- Enter Ravaged Hideout and follow its compact, mostly linear route through the corridors, enemies, and wall crevices.
- In the final room, interact with the propped-up corpse to collect the Salvaged Trebuchaxe.
A walkthrough reports that Wraiths appear when you pick up the weapon, so be ready for a fight. The same route includes a stone chest containing the Tooth of Nochte; it is an optional nearby pickup, not part of the Trebuchaxe acquisition.
Do you have to defeat the Bloodcursed Lithopod?
The available guides conflict. GameSpot and AllThingsHow describe defeating the Bloodcursed Lithopod as a gate to the lair, while another guide excerpt says you can kill or pass it and treats the camp as a landmark rather than a hard requirement. The evidence does not settle whether the encounter is always mandatory.

For the most reliable route, defeat the Lithopod if it blocks access to Ravaged Hideout. Although the Lithopod reportedly drops the Citadel Gate Lever, the available guides do not establish that the lever is a separate requirement for collecting the Trebuchaxe.
What the Salvaged Trebuchaxe does
The Salvaged Trebuchaxe is a Sidearm that launches hand-axe projectiles. A guide characterizes its shots as slow and heavy-hitting; that is a description of its in-game function, not a measured performance comparison.

The route details are described in secondary game guides, including GameSpot and AllThingsHow. AllThingsHow’s guide is dated August 27, 2026, and GameSpot’s is dated August 17, 2026. GameSpot lists a December 31, 2026 first-release date for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X, a date later than the guide dates; these listings do not independently confirm a release or physical-edition availability.
