Saints Row: The Third Remastered is scheduled for iPhone, iPad, and Android on October 29, 2026. As of the latest official information dated October 13, the mobile edition has not launched yet. Feral Interactive says it is adapted for touchscreen play with customizable controls, while the PC and console editions use their established input systems and advertise platform-specific graphics options.
The mobile version is intended to bring the complete remaster, including the three expansion mission packs and more than 30 downloadable-content items, to phones and tablets. The important differences are therefore platform-dependent controls, device requirements, online-play rules, and graphics capabilities—not a confirmed reduction in story or DLC content.
Mobile release status and date
Feral Interactive announced the iOS and Android version on September 3, 2026, with availability scheduled for October 29, 2026. The announcement is a release plan, not proof that the game is already downloadable. The authoritative store and publisher information available on October 13 still described the mobile edition as upcoming.
That distinction matters if you are deciding whether to buy or download it now. A store page may appear before the release date, and regional rollout timing can vary, but the confirmed date in the announcement is October 29. Check the App Store or Google Play listing in your country on or after that date for the actual download status, price, and device eligibility.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
What “mobile” means in this release
Feral describes the port as “expertly optimised for mobile” and “adapted to touchscreen with customisable controls.” Those are the developer’s promotional claims. They establish that the interface is designed for touch and that the control layout can be adjusted; they do not establish measured frame rates, battery life, controller support, or parity with a particular console performance mode.

Controls: touchscreen customization versus traditional input
Mobile controls
The mobile port is being built around touch. Feral specifically says the controls are customizable, so you should expect to be able to adjust the arrangement or behavior of on-screen controls rather than accept one fixed layout. That is the confirmed design goal. The announcement does not specify the number of virtual buttons, whether controls can be resized independently, or whether external gamepads are supported.

Touch input changes the practical demands of driving, aiming, camera movement, and menu navigation. A phone held in both hands leaves less physical feedback than a controller, while a tablet provides a larger surface for an on-screen layout. Because no hands-on control test or final interface documentation is available, it would be misleading to promise that touch feels identical to a console pad or keyboard and mouse.
PC and console controls
PC and console players use their platform’s normal input ecosystem. Console editions are designed around a game controller. PC players use the input methods supported by their installation and hardware; no official listing defines a single mandatory device or publishes a complete input matrix for this comparison.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
The meaningful difference is therefore certainty: console and PC buyers already know the physical control environment they will use, while mobile buyers must evaluate the final touch layout after launch. Do not assume that a Bluetooth controller works with the mobile version until Feral or the relevant store listing confirms it.
iPhone and iPad requirements
The App Store listing requires iOS 18 or later. It lists iPhone 11 and later, along with select older iPhone models, and iPad 10th generation and later, along with select earlier iPad mini, iPad Air, and iPad Pro models. These are store-listing compatibility requirements, not a universal promise of identical speed, image quality, or thermal behavior on every supported device.

- Open Settings on the iPhone or iPad.
- Tap General, then About, and note the model name and software version.
- Open the game’s App Store listing after the October 29 release date and compare the listed model family with your device.
- Update to iOS 18 or a later release if the device supports it, then check the listing again for any regional or version-specific notes.
A device appearing in a supported family does not tell you how long a session it can sustain before reducing performance because of heat, nor does it establish a particular frame rate. Those measurements were not published in official specifications.
Android requirements are still an open question
Current official information does not provide a verified Android compatibility matrix. There is no confirmed minimum Android version, chipset list, RAM requirement, GPU tier, or supported-device list to quote here.
That makes the Android purchase decision different from the iOS decision. Before installing, use the Google Play listing that is live in your region and read its device-compatibility section. If your phone is not listed, do not infer support from its price, processor brand, or Android version alone. If the listing changes after launch, use the current store information rather than pre-release announcements.

Story, expansions, and downloadable content
Content inclusion is the strongest point of parity documented in the sources. Steam says the remaster includes all three expansion mission packs and more than 30 DLC items from the original game. The Apple listing likewise says the mobile release comes complete with all DLC.

The confirmed descriptions point to the complete remastered package. They do not, however, establish whether every platform receives exactly the same texture settings, loading behavior, save-transfer system, or future patch schedule.
What the DLC claim does and does not answer
- It confirms inclusion of the three expansion mission packs and more than 30 DLC items in the Steam description.
- It confirms an “all DLC” claim for the mobile release in the Apple listing.
- It does not provide a platform-by-platform itemized checklist in the available official descriptions.
- It does not establish cross-save or cross-progression between mobile, PC, and consoles.
- It does not establish whether a purchase on one platform unlocks the game on another.
Online co-op and subscription requirements
PC
Steam lists online co-op for the PC edition. No official listing specifies a player-count figure or a separate subscription requirement for PC. Your ability to play will still depend on the platform account, network connection, and the game’s current online service availability.
PlayStation
The PlayStation listing describes co-op for up to two online players. It also states that PlayStation Plus is required for online play. That requirement is separate from the game’s inclusion of co-op: owning the game does not by itself provide the console subscription needed to use the online mode.
Xbox
The Xbox listing describes two-player online co-op and says an online multiplayer subscription is required on console. The listing also advertises the game’s Xbox graphics capabilities, discussed below.

Mobile
Do not assume that the mobile edition has co-op because the PC and console editions do. The current mobile evidence confirms touchscreen adaptation and DLC inclusion, but it does not confirm mobile online co-op in every region or on either mobile operating system. Wait for a current iOS or Android listing to state the feature before buying specifically for portable multiplayer.
Graphics and resolution: advertised platform capabilities
Console storefronts publish specific graphics claims that are not equivalent to an independent benchmark. They describe capabilities or modes promoted for that platform; they do not prove that every scene holds the stated frame rate or that two platforms render identically.
PlayStation 5
The PlayStation description advertises improvements to lighting, shaders, texture resolution, and other visual effects. It also lists 60 frames per second and dynamic 4K resolution. “Dynamic” means the resolution can vary as the system balances image quality and performance; it should not be read as a guarantee of native 4K in every frame.
Xbox
The Xbox listing advertises 4K Ultra HD, HDR10, and 60 fps or higher. These are storefront specifications. The listing does not provide a scene-by-scene comparison with the mobile build, and no controlled test is published that measures sustained frame rate, resolution, or HDR behavior.
PC
Steam’s listing confirms the remaster and its content and online co-op, but it does not supply a comparable performance target for PC. PC results depend on the specific graphics hardware, processor, display, drivers, and settings used, so a console figure should not be transferred to every computer.

To maintain the grip and prevent accidental falls, it's a good practice to periodically reapply pressure to the suction cup.
Mobile
Feral’s “optimised for mobile” wording describes the port’s design objective, not a published resolution or frame-rate target. No verified mobile benchmark, graphics preset list, thermal test, or battery estimate is available in published official material. Claims that the mobile version is definitely lower-fidelity, locked to a particular frame rate, or identical to a console mode would go beyond the evidence.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What you gain and give up on each platform
Choose mobile if portability and a complete package matter most
- You want to play on a phone or tablet rather than remain at a desk or television.
- You are comfortable configuring touch controls and checking device compatibility.
- You value the announced complete DLC package and can wait until October 29, 2026.
- You do not require confirmed mobile co-op or a verified external-controller feature at launch.
Choose console if a defined living-room setup and published display features matter most
- You prefer physical controller input and a television or monitor.
- You want the platform’s advertised visual features, such as PS5 dynamic 4K at 60 fps or Xbox 4K Ultra HD, HDR10, and 60 fps or higher.
- You plan to use online co-op and are willing to maintain the required PlayStation Plus or Xbox online multiplayer subscription.
- You want a two-player online co-op description that is explicitly documented by the storefront.
Choose PC if you want a computer-based installation and Steam-listed co-op
- You already have a suitable gaming PC and prefer its input and display setup.
- You want the Steam edition’s documented inclusion of all three expansion mission packs, more than 30 DLC items, and online co-op.
- You are prepared to verify the final PC system requirements yourself, because official listings do not provide them.
Questions the current listings cannot answer yet
Several details are important to mobile buyers but are not established by the announced information:
- The final Android minimum version and supported device families.
- Whether iOS and Android support online co-op, local multiplayer, or cross-platform play.
- External-controller compatibility on either mobile operating system.
- Cross-save, cloud-save behavior, or progression transfer between mobile and PC or console.
- Mobile resolution, frame-rate targets, graphics presets, battery use, and thermal behavior.
- Final regional prices, file size, launch-day patch requirements, and rollout timing.
These are not merely technical footnotes. They determine whether a phone can run the game comfortably, whether two friends can play together, and whether a mobile purchase can replace an existing console or PC copy. Treat each as a launch-time store or publisher question rather than filling the gap with assumptions from another platform.
How to evaluate the mobile listing on launch day
- Confirm the date and publisher. On October 29, 2026 or later, make sure the listing identifies the official mobile release and is available in your region.
- Check your exact model. For iPhone and iPad, compare the model family and confirm iOS 18 or later. For Android, read the complete compatibility section because no pre-release matrix is established here.
- Read the feature list. Look for explicit statements about co-op, controller support, cloud saves, and DLC rather than assuming that PC or console features carry over.
- Review storage and update information. The final listing may state an installation size or additional download requirement; those figures can change and were not established before release.
- Check the return policy and regional price. Store prices and availability are volatile. Verify them in your own storefront before completing the purchase.
Bottom line for the mobile-versus-console decision
The announced mobile release aims to deliver the full Saints Row: The Third Remastered package on touchscreen devices, with customizable controls and all DLC identified by the Apple listing. Its confirmed trade-offs are platform constraints: iOS 18 or later and a listed Apple device family, an Android compatibility list that is not yet verified in the available material, and no confirmed mobile co-op or gamepad support.
Console storefronts provide the clearest published graphics and multiplayer specifications: PlayStation advertises up to two online players, PS5 visual improvements, 60 fps, and dynamic 4K, while Xbox advertises two-player co-op, 4K Ultra HD, HDR10, and 60 fps or higher. Steam confirms online co-op and the complete expansion/DLC package. Until the mobile listings publish their final compatibility and feature details, choose mobile for portability and touchscreen play—not on the assumption that every console or PC capability has been confirmed on phones.
