CHOICE Australia uses the shorter model identifier R18XSV914. These regional model numbers should not be confused with similarly named North American ONE+ HP kits.
The kit’s 18V ONE+ battery platform may be useful if you already own compatible Ryobi batteries, but the bundle listed by Ryobi Australia includes a battery and charger, so it can also serve as a starting point for someone without them.

Runtime and allergen claims
In a video description dated 6 December 2022, Ryobi Australia advertises up to 55 minutes of runtime with a ONE+ 4.0Ah battery. It also says the powered roller-bar motor can be switched off. Runtime will depend on operating conditions and setting; the advertised maximum should not be read as a measured result for every floor or use case.
The same manufacturer description says the cyclonic filtration system “collects 99.9% of allergens.” That is Ryobi’s claim, and independent validation of that figure is not established in the accessible evidence. Treat it as a product claim rather than a confirmed filtration test result.

Floor types, weight and day-to-day handling
Ryobi New Zealand lists hard floors, rugs, tiles, carpet, upholstery and vinyl as suitable surfaces. It describes two suction settings, an LED light and an interlocking hinge that lets the vacuum stand on a flat surface. These are product descriptions, not independent assessments of cleaning performance or convenience.
The 2.7kg figure is explicitly tool-only, while CHOICE records 3.74kg without the same tool-only label. Do not assume either number represents the complete kit as carried during cleaning. If carrying weight matters to you, check the assembled vacuum’s weight with the battery and head attached at the retailer.

Cleaning and maintaining the vacuum
Ryobi support says regular cleaning of the dust cup, filter, filtration system and roller bars is needed for maximum performance. For filter washing, its instructions are to remove the filter, wash it with soapy water, and let it dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling it. Reinstalling a damp filter would conflict with that guidance.

Warranty, price and where to check availability
CHOICE Australia lists a four-year warranty for the vacuum, extendable to six years if registered, and a three-year warranty for the battery and charger. These are Australian listing terms; confirm current conditions and registration requirements in your market before buying.
CHOICE recorded a price of A$459. Ryobi New Zealand displayed NZ$465 with a price-correct date of 20 June 2026.
