R18XSV914BLK identifies the kit, while the vacuum tool itself is listed as R18XSV9BLK. That distinction matters when searching for support or parts. Ryobi Australia and Bunnings list the kit with an 18V ONE+ 4Ah battery, a 2A charger, a crevice tool, a dust brush and an owner’s manual. Ryobi describes the vacuum as suitable for carpets and hard floors.
CHOICE’s public exact-model page lists a wall mount and an extra filter among supplied items, alongside its other specifications. Because that differs from the manufacturer and retailer kit descriptions, check the contents of the specific package you are buying rather than assuming every listing or package version is identical.

The 800 mL figure is Ryobi’s stated dust capacity; CHOICE separately reports a 0.6 L measured dust collector. These values come from different sources and descriptions, so they should not be treated as interchangeable. Ryobi’s product page says, “Get up to 55 minutes of runtime on a fully charged 4Ah battery (included).” It does not establish runtime for each suction setting or the conditions behind the maximum. Expecting 55 minutes in every situation would go beyond what the claim says.

What features are listed, and what do they establish?
Ryobi lists cyclonic filtration, low and high suction settings, LED illumination, a self-standing interlocking hinge and a removable roller bar designed to reduce hair wrapping. The kit’s crevice tool and dust brush provide accessories for narrower or dusting tasks. These are manufacturer-stated features, not evidence of measured pickup, pet-hair performance, noise level or practical battery life.
CHOICE’s public page names test categories including hard-floor pickup, quick and thorough carpet cleaning, pet hair, car cleaning, edges, noise and running time. Its expert rating and results are member-only on that page, so the publicly visible information does not support an independent performance verdict for this model.

How should you maintain it?
Ryobi says that a loss of suction can be associated with a dislodged or loose rubber seal on the dust canister, or with a dirty dust cup, filter, filtration system or roller bars. Its support guidance advises regular cleaning of those components. For the filter, Ryobi instructs owners to wash it with soapy water and leave it to dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling it. Do not reinstall a damp filter.

Ryobi’s support notice lists R18XSV914 among models that may be affected if manufactured during weeks 30–52 of 2022 or weeks 1–34 of 2023. It does not say every unit of this model is affected. Check the model and manufacture date on your vacuum, then follow Ryobi’s current support instructions if it falls within the listed range or has a loose or missing seal. Ryobi says customer service can provide replacement seal part 544997002 at no cost if the seal is missing.

Who is this kit likely to suit?
The included battery and charger make this the kit configuration rather than a bare vacuum, while the 4Ah battery is the one Ryobi names in its maximum-runtime claim. The listed features and accessories point to everyday cordless use across carpets and hard floors, but no public independent results establish how it performs on those surfaces. If cleaning performance, pet-hair pickup, noise or usable runtime is decisive, look for accessible model-specific test results rather than treating the specification figures as a substitute.
Before purchase, confirm current local availability, the exact box contents and warranty terms with the retailer. Ryobi’s displayed price was stated to be correct as of 11 October 2024, and its product information directs buyers to local Bunnings stores for availability; neither price nor stock should be assumed current.
