What phones are documented in this price range?
The available evidence supports one named new handset in the range: the Nokia 130 (2023). HMD Global’s Pakistan product page displayed a starting price of Rs. 5,999 and a “Notify me when Nokia 130 (2023) is available for purchase” prompt when accessed on October 7, 2026. WhatMobile’s Pakistan listing showed Rs. 6,599 on that date. These are displayed prices, not confirmed inventory or guaranteed checkout prices. Ask the seller to confirm the exact unit, current stock, final price, warranty and return terms before paying.
For context, SpecsDekh’s Pakistan Mobile Price Index page, updated October 7, 2026, reported 766 phone models on sale, a median price of Rs. 44,999, and 46% of listed phones under Rs. 40,000. These are publisher-reported market figures, not independently audited measurements; they do not establish that a particular model is available for Rs. 6,000–8,000.

Is the Nokia 130 a smartphone, and can it provide a hotspot?
No. HMD identifies the Nokia 130 (2023) as a feature phone running S30+, with GSM 900/1800 bands (2G). It is not an Android phone, and the listed specifications do not support describing it as a mobile-data or hotspot device. Do not buy it expecting Android apps, modern web browsing or internet sharing.

How to check price, stock and PTA registration
- Confirm availability and total cost. Contact the seller because HMD’s page showed a notify-me prompt. Ask for the final payable price, the condition of the handset, warranty coverage and return terms.
- Check the specific device’s registration status. For imported or unregistered devices, FBR’s DIRBS information page links to registration procedures and PTA’s Device Verification System. Use the official verification route for the handset you are buying; a product page or generic listing cannot prove that an individual unit is PTA approved.
- Match the device to your need before purchase. If you need 2G calls and basic audio, the listed Nokia may suit that use. If you need Android apps, mobile data or a hotspot, the documented specifications do not meet that requirement.
