Rox Resources’ 8 July 2025 update said dewatering at Youanmi was progressing ahead of schedule, reported new gold intersections at three areas, and described feasibility work and early works as advancing. The financing news was less definitive: expressions of interest were non-binding and subject to due diligence and approvals. These are statements and forecasts from the company’s July announcement, not confirmation of the project’s status today.
What Rox reported about dewatering
In its 8 July 2025 ASX announcement, Rox said dewatering was progressing ahead of schedule at Youanmi Main and United North. The release gave different pumping rates and target dates for the two areas:

These dates were projections made in July 2025, not current-status claims. A later Rox announcement dated 3 September 2025 said United North pit dewatering was complete; it also said underground mining approval remained under review at that time. That update does not establish the project’s status now. See Rox’s ASX company announcements for subsequent primary releases.
What the drilling results showed
Rox reported further high-grade intersections at Youanmi Main, Prospect and Pollard. The intervals below are exploration results reported by the company; they are not production figures or proof of commercial viability.

Youanmi Main
- Hole RXDD216: 4.81 metres at 8.97 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 492.7 metres.
- Hole RXDD216: 5.73 metres at 4.69 g/t gold from 421.1 metres.
Rox said RXDD216 extended mineralisation beneath the then-current resource. It also said hole RXDD208 showed continuity north of that resource.
Prospect
- Hole RXDD215: 6.35 metres at 14.43 g/t gold from 205.7 metres, including 1.47 metres at 51.80 g/t.
Pollard
- Hole RXDD209: 2.95 metres at 8.91 g/t gold from 232.3 metres, including 0.47 metres at 55.00 g/t.
These grades and geological interpretations should be read as Rox’s reported exploration findings, not as independently verified statistics or guaranteed future outcomes.

What the financing update did—and did not—mean
Rox said it had received credit-endorsed, non-binding expressions of interest from Australian and international banks and mining financiers. The company said the interest exceeded projected capital costs, but noted that responses depended on satisfactory due diligence and approvals. The announcement did not say that financing had been secured or completed.

The company said all major workstreams for the definitive feasibility study (DFS) had been awarded, metallurgical test work was advancing, early works were underway, and a contract had been issued for camp expansion. Its July 2025 schedule forecast delivery of the DFS in Q4 2025, followed shortly thereafter by a Final Investment Decision. Those were planned milestones in the announcement; the release alone does not confirm that they were achieved.
Rox’s Managing Director and CEO Phill Wilding described the activity as: “There has been a flurry of activity at our flagship Youanmi Gold Project in recent weeks, from significant progress in dewatering, awarding of all contracts for the DFS, and ongoing positive results from metallurgical test work.”
