Neowin reported on October 10, 2026, that the iRobot Roomba 105 was listed on Amazon for $149.99, described as 50% off a stated $299.99 price, with an active Prime account required. That price has not been independently verified, and the report does not identify the exact Roomba 105 configuration. Check Amazon’s live listing for the current price, Prime requirement, included dock and model before buying.
What the reported Roomba 105 deal includes
The deal report gives a price of $149.99—not exactly $149—and calls it 50% off $299.99. Neowin’s report is dated October 10, 2026, at 23:54 EDT. Because the Amazon listing could not be checked, treat the price and Prime requirement as reported details rather than confirmed live listing terms. Neowin’s deal report
The report does not establish whether the Amazon item is a vacuum-only model or a vacuum-and-mop Combo, whether an AutoEmpty dock is included, or whether it is the Roomba 105 or a 105X. Those distinctions matter: iRobot’s official pages show multiple 105 configurations, and their features and prices are not interchangeable.

How to verify the listing before you buy
- Open the Amazon listing and confirm that the current price is still $149.99; a time-sensitive deal may have expired or changed.
- Check whether the listing requires an active Prime account and whether the displayed price applies to your account.
- Read the complete model name and listing details. Confirm whether it is Vac or Combo, whether an AutoEmpty dock is included, and whether the model is 105 or 105X.
- Check the seller, availability, delivery terms and return conditions on the live listing.
Do not use iRobot’s own sale prices to validate the reported Amazon offer. Its Prime Big Deal Days page, reviewed October 11, 2026, listed the Roomba 105 Combo Robot + AutoEmpty dock at $469.99. Its separate Roomba 105 Vac + AutoEmpty product page showed $279.99, reduced from $449.99, with an offer expiry of October 17, 2026. These are different configuration and promotion contexts; neither confirms whether the reported Amazon deal is live.

What the Roomba 105 Vac + AutoEmpty configuration offers
The following details apply specifically to the Roomba 105 Vac Robot + AutoEmpty dock described on iRobot’s product page, not necessarily to the item in Neowin’s deal report.
- Navigation: iRobot lists ClearView LiDAR, app scheduling and targeted cleaning, keep-out zones, and voice-assistant control.
- Cleaning: The vacuum has a 3-stage cleaning system. iRobot also claims 70X power-lifting suction compared with Roomba 600-series robots; that is a manufacturer comparison, not an independent test result.
- AutoEmpty dock: iRobot says the dock can hold debris for up to 75 days before it needs emptying. It also claims the bag traps 99% of allergens as small as 0.7 microns. Both figures are manufacturer claims, not independent measurements.
- Setup and care: The product page specifies a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for setup and operation, routine care for the bin, contacts and brushes, and filter replacement every 3–6 months. The listed box contents include the Vac robot, AutoEmpty dock and an extra filter; confirm the exact listing and owner’s guide for configuration-specific details.
iRobot describes the navigation this way: “ClearView™ LiDAR quickly maps your home, avoids obstacles and cleans in neat rows, even in the dark.” This is the manufacturer’s product description.
