The reported Amazon discount on the Roborock Saros 10R is not a live deal: an October 9, 2026 report said the $884.99 price ran during Prime Big Deal Days on October 6–7 and had ended. That price was $715 below the reported $1,599.99 reference price, but the available reports do not establish an all-time low. Check Amazon’s listing for the current price, seller, stock and any conditions before buying.
What the reported Amazon deal actually was
GeekChamp reported on October 9, 2026 that Amazon US had listed the Saros 10R for $884.99 during Prime Big Deal Days, held October 6–7. The report compared that deal price with a $1,599.99 reference price, a difference of $715. The event was already over when the report was published, so that figure should be treated as a past promotion—not an offer available now.
Other coverage captured different prices at different times. Gizmodo reported $899 against $1,599 on June 27, 2026, describing a $700 reduction. Tom’s Guide later listed $999 in October 2026 sales coverage against $1,599. These are separate snapshots, not a verified price history. They do not establish what Amazon charges today or prove that any of the prices was the product’s lowest ever.

The title’s “lowest-ever” wording is therefore not supported by the available evidence. To establish an all-time low, a buyer would need a reliable price-history record for the exact Saros 10R variant and market, with the comparison period and reference price made clear. The reported October promotion also does not establish the current Amazon seller, stock status, Prime eligibility or whether a coupon applied.

What the Saros 10R includes
The Saros 10R is a robot vacuum and mop. Roborock’s US product page identifies it as the “Roborock Saros 10R Robot Vacuum with Multifunctional Dock 4.0.” The dock is part of the system, rather than a separate product implied by the deal reports. Roborock advertises a 3.14-inch ultra-thin design, which makes the robot’s height a practical consideration if it needs to pass beneath low furniture.
Roborock lists the robot at 350 × 353 × 79.8 mm and the dock at 381 × 475 × 488 mm. The robot’s stated height is about 3.14 inches. Measure the lowest point of the furniture you want it to clean and allow enough clearance for the robot to pass without catching; the listed robot height alone cannot tell you whether it will fit beneath a particular sofa or cabinet.

Combined with 212°F hot water washing, 131°F hot air drying, self-cleaning maintenance, and up to 65 days of auto dust emptying, it delivers a truly hands-free experience.
Navigation and obstacle sensing
Roborock says the Saros 10R uses StarSight Autonomous System 2.0, dual-transmitter solid-state LiDAR, 3D Time-of-Flight sensing, RGB visual recognition and VertiBeam lateral obstacle avoidance. These are manufacturer-described navigation and sensing features. They indicate the types of systems included, but they are not independent test results and do not show that the robot will detect or avoid every small, misplaced or difficult-to-see object.
What the dock automates—and what still needs attention
Roborock describes the Multifunction Dock 4.0 as washing the mops with 80°C water, cleaning itself, detecting dirt to trigger a mop re-wash or re-mop, and dispensing detergent automatically. These functions may reduce routine intervention, but they do not mean the system requires no maintenance. The robot and dock still occupy floor space, and the manufacturer’s feature list is not a measurement of how often a household will need to empty, refill or clean components.

Roborock also describes automatic mop removal as an app setting that must be activated. If that function matters for your floors or cleaning routine, check the relevant setting in the app rather than assuming it is enabled by default. The product page also lists Matter compatibility and voice-command support through Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri Shortcuts and Google Home; compatibility in a particular home depends on the user’s devices and setup.
What to check before buying at Amazon
- Confirm the listing and price. Open the Amazon US product page and verify that it is the Saros 10R, not a different Saros model or bundle. Check the displayed price and whether a coupon must be selected.
- Check who sells and ships it. Review the seller and shipping details shown on the live listing. The historical deal reports do not establish today’s seller or stock.
- Review eligibility and terms. Look for any Prime-only restriction, promotion dates, delivery limits or return conditions shown at checkout. None of these details was established for a current offer.
- Compare like with like. Treat $1,599.99 as the reference price cited in the historical coverage, not as proof that the robot normally sells at that price. Compare the exact model, included dock and market when judging a discount.
- Measure your space. Compare the robot’s stated 79.8 mm height and the dock’s 381 × 475 × 488 mm dimensions with your furniture clearance and intended dock location.
Is the reported discount a reason to buy?
The October $884.99 figure would have represented a substantial reduction from the cited $1,599.99 reference, but it is historical and cannot answer whether the product is a good buy at today’s price. The June report’s $899 deal and October coverage at $999 show why a single past promotion is not enough to establish a lasting price or record low. Decide based on the live transaction price, the dock and mop features you will use, and whether the robot’s dimensions suit your home—not on an unsupported “lowest-ever” label.
